Talking about eBay (in my other post), are there any other eBayers?

I used to sell (and buy) all the time! Now, I only buy (not that often anymore), but tonight I decided to list some auctions and see what happens.

Anyone else?

I buy and sell, but not A LOT. Let's put it this way....my feedback is 175 and I have been doing ebay for about 7 years. I almost got scre*wed a few months back so I have been a little more nervous. I would do it a lot more if I wasn't so lazy. I have lots of stuff to sell. Plus, the cost of shipping has gotten so out of control, I am now leaning more towards Craigslist.

I have been a buyer for years but just started a seller account a few months ago and really enjoy it. It's a great way to get a great price for the hardly used clothes that our 2 1/2 year old princess outgrows way too fast.

ME!! I buy and sell on ebay. I've been selling for about 6 years under different id's...keep getting kicked off for listing 'adult' items, they won't allow certain words(which is stupid). I make decent $$ most months.

i sold some baby clothes one time....and a couple of other things. it takes a lot more time than people might think, and that's something i don't have! i keep stock piling my kids clothes in the attic thinking i'll put them on ebay someday but i never get around to it. i just hate selling that kind of stuff in a yard sale for a quarter when i paid like 40 dollars for it! today i tried on a pair of pants that are way too big now and i was like well, at least i can put these on ebay....they are nice...and i can get money to buy new clothes that fit IF i ever do it. it's funny i came across this post cus i'm staying awake right now waiting on an auction to end for some gymnastics outfits for my daughter. i really don't buy on there a whole lot, but i was going to buy her a leotard which is like $30 and i decided to look on there just out of curiosity and found EIGHT name brand leotards in great condition for $27....i LOVE ebay!

Ya know, something about eBay that I have noticed (or noticed the last time I sold) is that you don't get nearly as much for your item as back in the day. When I first started I was about 18 (I am only 22 now, lol, whatever) and sold all my maternity clothes from my first son. I than followed up by selling all his clothes as he grew out of them. Man, I remember I used to make a fortune!!! The last time I sold I didn't do nearly as good as back than. I am curious to know how this time works out. I agree with you dbethied, I hate selling such nice, name brand stuff at a yard sale for "nothing" when I can at least get a couple bucks (or more hopefully) for it on eBay, lol.

Yes - my DH is an avid buyer / ******r. Especially high end watches. He travels a lot s he makes arrangements a lot of time. See stuff in person etc. He also bought a car not too long ago for a good price only to resale it a few months later for a profit. (he LOVES doing that, ugh)

And yes, we will sale things on occassion on there. Name brands go well for us.

However - my DH's company is one of those monster companys and they have a Classified website for employees and we use that as well. Lot easier, no shopping just walk out to his trunk etc.

oh yeah, the trip i'm planning to the beach at the end of july.....i booked a room at a resort for 5 days and four nights which i bought on ebay for $225!!!! ......the website for the hotel says it would've been $600 normally which still isn't too bad considering how expensive hotels at the beach are. the only downside is it's not ON the beach....but it's only like 5-10 mins away from it and it's really nice. i'd rather save hundreds of dollars and drive a few mins. to get there. some guy has a time share and isn't using it so he's selling his time on ebay.....good thing to keep in mind for anyone going on vacation. you can't beat the prices for hotel stays on there and it's all legit.
