DEA Warning--Buying drugs online may be illegal and dangerous!

Federal law prohibits buying controlled substances such as narcotic pain relievers (e.g., OxyContin®, Vicodin ®), sedatives (e.g., Valium®, Xanax®, Ambien®), stimulants (e.g., phentermine, phendimetrazine, Adderall®, Ritalin®) and anabolic steroids (e.g., Winstrol®, Equipoise®) without a valid prescription from your doctor. This means there must be a real doctor-patient relationship, which by most state laws requires a physical examination. Prescriptions written by "cyber doctors" relying on online questionnaires are not legitimate under the law.

Buying controlled substances online without a valid prescription may be punishable by imprisonment under Federal law. Often drugs ordered from rogue websites come from foreign countries. It is a felony to import drugs into the United States and ship to a non-DEA registrant.

Buying drugs online may not be only illegal, but dangerous. The American Medical Association and state boards of medicine and pharmacy have all condemned the practice of cyber doctors issuing online prescriptions as unacceptable medical care. Drugs delivered by rogue websites may be the wrong drugs, adulterated or expired, the wrong dosage strength, or have no dosage directions or warnings.

I agree. I knew it was illegal to buy without a prescription from working in a pharmacy, but didn't realize it was a Federal offense until I found that.

I am sooo glad you found this on a .gov website, hopefully now those of us who are looking to get it online or ARE getting it online will really think twice. I worry about those people who do purchase their phen that way, I would hate to see them get arrested, or even worse, end up dead because of what they had taken. I've gotten a LOT of PM's asking if I knew of ways to get phen online, but I don't think they really took me seriously when I told them of the dangers. Maybe now if its in print from a trusted website they will. I'll keep praying for them though.

I'll have to search and find it again. When they ask you or they post asking, I just copy and paste this info in my reply. They stop asking after that.

I get can get just about anything as far as porn dvd's as long as it's legal. I've had people ask for the others(snuff, etc) but I inform them that I have no desire to go to prison. I sell the porn on ebay.

The sad truth is that most people (me included) are so desperite to lose the weight that they are willing to risk their wallet and health to do so. Add to that the fact that very few doctors prescibe Phen, and you have a HUGE, albeit dangerous and illegal, internet market.

I was lucky to find a doctor who prescibed it for me. But there are many people who don't live in a large city or area where one even exists.

I totally understand, but there are over-the-counters diet pills also. The one that I've taken that comes close to the same affects as Phen is Stacker 2. I'm taking Phen but my weight still isn't budging even with calorie counting, walking 2-4 miles everyday and 400-800 crunches daily. It doesn't work for everyone so why risk your $$ and health for something that might not work anyway? I'd go back to the over-the-counter diet pills before I ever bought them online.

First,, thanks for this info. I actually found this phen website when I was searching for Phen on line. A friend of mine and I were going to buy it together.. .. thanks to the numberous posts about the dangers of this,, I backed out of it. After a great deal of searching and calling, I finally found a doc in Columbus, OH which would prescribe phen to me.. (Wanna hear something really funny- my only family doc wont prescribe phen to anyone but was more than happy to approve me for gastric bypass,, is that messed up or what!!) Anyway,, so here is my question,, on Ohio,, apparently,, there are strict laws about prescribing phen,, the doc is only allowed to prescribe it for 3 months,, then you have to be off it for 6 months before you can go on it again.. I am not at my 3 month time limit yet,, and every thing is going so awesome (I'm a first time phen-er).. I dont really wanna go buy it online,, especially after reading all the warnings against it,,, but OMG,, I'm so scared that after 3 months of success, when I have to totally do this on my own, that the weight might all come back on... Anyone out there have similar problems in their state and what do you do about it?

Hey there! My Dr. prescribed a month's supply to me on Friday and said for me to come back monthly and that he only goes 3 months on Phen as well! I know what you mean and feel the same anxiety about not being where I need to be by that time and had wondered about the online Phen UNTIL reading more on it! I live in Missouri and I am anxious to see what is said about all this...

Not sure if it's a law or if it's just how the dr. feels about it. I live in Missouri and have been on Phen for 2 years. If you're eating right and exercising like you are while you're on it, then you should be ok. It's when you start slacking that the weight comes back. I posted my journey on here and my ongoing struggle with losing and keeping the weight off.
