HELP!!! WITH DIET/WEIGHT LOSS CENTERS!!!

Okay Okay...so this might have been posted by someone before but hey..i need to know. I have spoke to a few of you ladies abt goin to Weight Loss Clinics...I am in dire...spelling? anyways i desperatly need to start bein healthy abt this (aka no internet Phen) and tracking things with a Dr. I am south of Cleve, OH and im just very confused on to even find a place. So I appreciate any help...heres my top #s I have:

1. wHAT DO U SEARCH FOR ON THE INTERNET IN ORDER TO LOCATE A CLINIC?

2. [ Do u have to have a referral from a regular Dr?

3.Did u suggest Phen or did they?

4. Is it covered by insurance?

5. MOST IMPORTANTLY...DO U HAVE TO BE A CERTAIN PERCENTAGE OVERWEIGHT TO QUALIFY?

Please i need all the help I can get cuz I wanna be healthy by summer. I have lost 5 lbs with tha Phen but I realize I wanna be under the care of a Dr, I wanna do this healthy and I want support. Thanks guys,...you mean the world!

I actually looked in my local yellow pages under Health. It might be under weight-loss, I know that every state words it differently

Here in Utah, and I am pretty sure everywhere else, no.

3.Did u suggest Phen or did they?

My doc did, just because I wasn't losing enough for as much as I was dieting and exercising.

4. Is it covered by insurance?

I have no idea. Maybe call them? I usually pay about $22 for a 30 day supply

5. MOST IMPORTANTLY...DO U HAVE TO BE A CERTAIN PERCENTAGE OVERWEIGHT TO QUALIFY?

My doc wouldn't put you on it if you were under a certain BMI. He just feels like you need to be classified as "Obese" to use it. Every Doc is different, as well as every situation is different!

Well I'm not to sure, because it sounds like you tried looking after Band Mamma told you what to do. But maybe you could try talking to your doctor and ask him to suggest some legite weight loss clinics. I also heard that some gynocologist will prescribe you prescribe Phen.

My referral was from my Primary Doctor

She suggested Phen to me about 9 months ago and I refused to do it. Then 8 months later, my weight did not drop (even after all of my working out and eating healthy). The doc asked me about Phen again, I said no that time too. Then in that same appointment she said she would get me some tests and in the mean time I should take Phen. I finally said "fine, I'll try it!" Turns out my lack of weight loss OFF of Phen is due to my weight gain being heriditary. So she suggested I stay on it unitl I reach my goal. And now I love Phen....so my main point is, yes my Doc suggested Phen lol...I know......that was unnecessarly long lol

4. Is it covered by insurance?
No.... I wish it was. But for me it is only $40 for a 30 day supply.

I"m not sure. It depends on the doctor. I've seen many women on here who are extremly overweight like myself and they are on Phen. So I think it is at the doctors discretion.

I would just like to add that I comend you for going about this the right way and looking for a legite place to get your medicine. Online buyers need to follow in your footsteps and wise up like you. Great job and good luck!

My primary physician is the one who writes my prescriptions. I went to him and asked if he could write me a script for weight loss meds. He had no problem at all. My OB-GYN was the one who write my script back in 2006. Have you asked your primary doctor? It wouldn't hurt.

My insurance won't cover Phen, but it only costs me $31.99/month.

i have a few friends in OH. One actually in Cleveland and they are having trouble finding a weight loss clinic also that looks legit. If you do find one please pass along the info. Thanks

Hi everyone,
I have been on phen and having great success, and my sister in law went to her doctor (near Youngstown) and he freaked out on her when she asked for it. He said that nobody around there prescribes that and was questioning how I got someone to prescribe it for me! Needless to say she didn't get it. She's trying to find a clinic that will prescribe it there, but I am pretty computer savvy and couldn't really find any promising searches. Anyone know of a real clinic (safe) that she could go in the Youngstown or even Cleveland area?

Thank you soo much for posting that! I am missouri and I have been tryin and looking and stalking try to find a place that perscribes these. I looked on the net and no luck, because I was typing ph en ter mine. then i called about 30 dif places in my yellow book and they were mostly dr offices who of corse all sd NO. I thought I was gonna have to give up and I was nosin around and seen this! I did that search(for stl of corse!) and a lot of places came up! I only found 1 that actually did the ph en. but, thats all I need is 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
