Still Worried, Don't want to have to go off Phen!

Hey Guys it's me again, I posted yesterday about the wierd pressure/fullness in my chest and was just wondering if anyone else out there has weird feelings in their chest taking Phen? I am getting my self all worried because I don't know if this is normal or not I mean my chest doesn't hurt it just feels like a fullness. I so want these pills to work for me and this is the only side effect I seem to have from them.

i started feeling a slight pain in my chest yesterday and today i didnt take phen and i kinda still feel lit... so with that said what are the symptoms of a female heart attack? its on my left side that i only feel it. i cant feel it when i take deep breaths

but i think it might be gas or something (or maybe just wishful thinking)

I was thinking my pains were just gas too because my BM's havn't exactly been regular and I can feel the gas kinda trapped in my stomach which becomes very uncomfortable at times. My discomfort is located kinda right behind my right breast. I'm not sure of the symptoms of a heart attack for a woman I guess thats why it's so scary I would hate to ignore something thats serious.

Hey guys.. this sounds like what I have had before and after taking Phen... Try this.. take some gavison and then drink small sips of water,, hot tea or carbonated beverage (this one works quick)...it will cause you to burp and for the feelings to go almost immediately away.... I'm not sure what causes it,, but this solution definately works.. trust me sometimes the attacks have been so bad I've almost called an ambulence and on numerous occassions my kids have called my parents because I was scaring them... If it doesn't work,,, well then maybe you should talk to the doctor.

hey guys , if it helps any - i get that feeling that i'm breathing shallow. I went to my doc and they measured my blood pressure - my pressure was fine. Basically, i have anxiousness that may be causing me to breathe that way. If anyone suffers from panic attacks , they might have some on phentermine. To be extra certain that it is not the phentermine causing discomfort- they are going to give me an EKG (something recommend to do while you're on phentermine). An ekg is a test that checkouts your heartbeat . They gave me one prior to going on the drug to make sure my heart was healthy and the next one after two weeks of use to make sure that phentermine isn't causing any troubles. If you have hmo insurance just ask your primary care doctor to refer you to a cardiologist so you can get an EKG if you have a ppo, or pos - you can just go straight to a cardiologist that is in network and pay the specialist co pay. If it is gas, causing that sharp pain - take a laxative tea to soften up your stool. Phentermine causes constipation (my doc said). I take one every day.

Ok...not to scare anyone...just answering Libby's question. The scary thing about a female heart attack is that there are really no set symptoms. Female's tend to have atypical heart attacks. Classic symptoms are left sided chest pain. Radiating pain in your left arm, tingling or numbness in your left arm, shortness of breath. More uncommon signs are pain or pressure in your jaw,neck or back, nausea, vomiting, feeling dizzy, weak or lightheaded, pain, pressure or tingling in your right arm or shoulder. That being said, indigestion can feel a lot like a heart attack. If you've never had indigestion before, there's really no way to tell the difference, and it's always best to be checked out if you're not sure.

thanks babynurse... the only symptom i have from above is that pain on the left side because i have no tingling and all that stuff... so hopefully its gas. i'll ask about it tomorrow when i go to the doctor for my checkup
