    Default Weight Loss Stall

It's SO discouraging to watch the scale NOT move.

If you have stalled ... how long was it for?

Did it drop several lbs when it kicked back in?

I seriously thought this morning, "Self, you are right handed - so if you chop off your left arm, no big deal and the scale would HAVE to go down"

I hear ya! I have been stuck for a few days too and it is frustrating as hell. I have not been feeling well since Wednesday and have barely eaten anything too! Maybe my body is holding onto the weight so that I can get better!??? I'm goin with that one until the scale moves!! I hope you see the same soon! Good luck!

well if your working hard and you think your body is holding onto the weight or shutting down as people say, well I think eventually it will have to "let go" because eventually your body will have to burn it, so I say keep going and eventually it will move, I have had that happen too, Keep workin ladies!!!

    Default Stall

Hi there! I sit at the same weight for about three weeks. Normally I would have got discouraged and ate everything in sight but I stuck with it and the weight started to come off. I did not lose a huge amount the next week, it just started to move slowly again! Stick with it, you will be glad you did! Good Luck

I agree, keep moving in addition to diet changes and it will come. At least that is the ticket I'm buying because I only lost that 1lb this week. But just think, 1lb a week is still 52lbs in one year. And right now I'm about 7lbs down in two weeks, so if I keep the 3lb average loss per week, I'll be at goal in no time. Think happy thoughts and don't let those bad voices get to you.

I seem to stall for two, three weeks as well. Usually around each ten pound mark. In the past I've always gotten discouraged and figured if I was going to stay fat I might as well EAT and enjoy myself but the phen has helped me stay with it and get over these annoying stalls.

I'm in one again and I hate it!

    Thanks Janoodle!

I was thinking 2-3 wks was normal stall, but seems I read where someone stalled for 2 months, that would be discouraging.
Today I'm down one more pound, I'll take it. But when I weighed I said "guess it will be another month ....before it goes down again" but in reality it could be tomorrow ... I swear it comes and goes as it pleases.

Oh and Janoodle ... I think EXACTLY like you ... might as well eat ... and like you, I'm using the phen not to.

I've found that if I switch up my routine a little bit just for a few days it helps a lot. Drinking a little extra water for a few days, trying a different workout, or eating a few extra or less calories for a couple days have all helped get me get the numbers moving!

I know exactly how you girls feel. I have been in a rut for like two weeks now and just cant break the 210.5 Mark. Its really discouraging. I run on a treadmill about 3-4 times a week and do at least 2-3 miles and it just doesnt want to go do. Makes me so depressed... somethings gotta give! oh and i noticed if i have not gone to the bathroom in a few days, i stay the same so i figure if i take a laxitive it should go down some lol

i too have stalled but stick with your regiment. i have figured out that my body is a selfish greedy thing and it wants to be fat. therefore .. it sees that im losing weight and tries to figure out how best to stop this from happining.. so it figures out how to store it but it can only do this for a bit of time then when i stick to my regiment my body gives up the fight for a while and i start to drop again... then about two and a half months later my body has come up with some other devious plot to ruin my weight loss plan and its the same sticking to my regiment and i eventually break the will of my body and i start to drop again. my biggest plateau was for two months (just this past two months) and i stuck with it and im down another two pounds in the last week.

Keep the faith!! and take it as a learning opportunity.. think of the future without phen and how these plateaus will help you in your disciplining yourself. you will be learning what foods you can eat without gaining and tricks to food that will fill you up but will not be fatning.

girl i have had stalls that have gone on for weeks....and I mean a stall down to the ounce.....that digital scale would not move. When that happens it is important to shake up what you're doing....eat differently or work out a different way..sometimes that makes a difference. It is so frustrating but the important thing is not to give up!

I have been stalled for almost 3m it's very frustrating. I assume it's the cold weather. Just not as active as i want to be. So i'll let you know when it moves again.

Yep, stucked like Chuck too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a monkey's tail _ _ _...fill in the blanks.

I was stuck for going on two month and up and down gaining and loosing 5 lbs, so I decided to stop the phen for two weeks. I am back on now and I have already lost 4 of the 5lbs.

Some of you should try this, it is working for me.
