    Default Vitamines? What do I take?

    Hello!

    I went to Wal-Mart and got the Womens 1A Day Vitamine. Im not to sure if that is the best thing to take. I am very strict on my diet..So i know i need some extra vitamines to help me get what I need everyday. I work with little kids so I dont want to have my immune system go down and get sick. So any advice? Thanks Yall

    I want to get some B12, because I need the energy. I just take the woman's 1 a day. It probably isn't the best vitamin, but it was convenient at the time I was getting vitamins. Oh and I was taking CLA, but I haven't taken those in a while either. I looked at the women's one a day though and the kids' vitamins look like they have nearly the same stuff, which makes you wonder just how good the women's vitamin actually is. I probably will look for a better one next time. Hopefully someone else can be a little more helpful.

    I take the womens one a day also. I have taken liquid B12 (Walmart or any pharmacy), in the past. That will give you added energy; However, it is nothing like the shot at the doctor's office, but it will help.

    I take CLA also, but it doesn't give you energy, it builds lean body mass and reduces body fat. I is suppose to help with the blubber around the waist line.

    I drink Organic Yerba Mate green tea (two cups a day) that give me extra energy also.

    hey everyone i use the vit. one a day with energy and i can tell a different and CLA plus 5HTP that's a whole lot of meds but at different times and they seem to work even thought i was bad this weekend with eating when not hungry . so PLEAS give me some up lifting messages i need them to get back on track

    My doctor recommended One a day as well. This was recommended just to ensure my body gets what the lack of foods will obviously not provide.

    I have the same question as far as vitimans, my sis takes womens one a day also and phen. Shantrice u have come to the right place for encouragement and you can do this, what do I say about beating yourself up about slip ups

    I have been taking a Centrium multi vitamin, and 4 chewable vitamin Cs (2000mg) a day. I feel great!
    One day at a time.

    I have been taking an amazing liquid vitamin each day. I hate to take pills and this particular vitamin allows me to take a one ounce shot each day instead of all of those pills.     I take Usana vitamins which are PACKED w/ all the vitamins your body requires on a daily basis. They come in little AM and PM packets. A little bit pricey but I think they are worth the cost because they make me feel great!

    1 womens mulit vitamin called super-vites (I find at my whole foods store)
    600 mg magnesium
    1 capsule chromium picolinate
    herbal laxative (at night)
    5htp 3x daily


    whew - thats alot, not to mention right now I am also taking echinacea and extra vitamin C (flu season)

    I actually still take my prenatal vitamins. I feel them working more than the Women's Daily. I do have a question what is 5hp?

    5HTP is a natural supplement that converts in the brain into serotonin. Serotonin is an important brain chemical involved in mood, behavior, appetite, and sleep. 5HTP supplement is from Griffonia simplicifolia seed. Griffonia simplicifolia is an African plant which is extracted to produce 5-HTP, the intermediary metabolite between the amino acid L- tryptophan and serotonin.

    I have a question for you that are taking the CLA.........

    How many do you take a day?
    Do you take with a meal and do you drink a small glass of milk with it? I heard somewhere that it is best taken with milk.....
    what is the mg? mine are 1000.

    .......and I am taking a prenatal vitamin because I am working on my hair and nails and it really helps them grow!! I wore fake nails for 15 yrs (i use to do nails).....and I got to the point that I was tired of them. my REAL nails are finally looking healthy and great!!

    I take 2 1000mg CLA capsules twice a day, with meals. Mine are 80% Safflower oil in each capsule, so depending on the concentration of yours it may be different. I use the GNC Tonalin brand. Hope this helps!
