    Default Half pill 2nd Half of day

    Help me figure this out.

    I take half a pill in the morning ... works wonders. But around 3 I do find that I can eat, I'm not starving ... but naturally I want food.

    However ... if I have something in my stomach .. no need to take my 2nd half of my pill - because in my experience it's not effective (with food in my stomach)

    But ... then ... I'll WANT food for dinner .. and my portion control is all but gone by then.

    Come on pro's give me some input how I should get the 2nd half of the day under control.

    I'm not a "pro" by any means... but my doc said that as long as I take my last dose before 5pm that I shouldn't have trouble getting to sleep at night. So if you're able to take 1/2 a pill sometime before or around 5:00, whenever you feel like your stomach is empty then maybe that could get you through the evening a little easier.

    have a schedule for yourself so you know that it has been two hours since your last meal and an hour before you are going to eat again..and that is when you are going to take the second half. This never works out well for me becasue I don't eat the same time everyday, so I may just start taking a whole pill but later on in the day.
    I did it!! Reached goal and have been here for quite a while thanks to low carb eating and working out like crazy! Phen didn't work for me, but that isn't to say that there aren't other ways. God bless all of you!

    I have two schedules for myself.

    During the week, I'll take half of the pill at 6 in the morning. And then I'll take the second half around 2. I still have a problem with late night snacking. I'm not "hungry" it's just out of habit that I want to eat.

    On the weekends, I'll normally sleep in a little. By the time I get up I don't want to have to wait an hour or so after taking my pill to eat. So I normally take the entire pill around 11.

    Hope this helps. You need to try and few things and see what works best for you. Good Luck!

    I have got to figure this out ... and thank you ladies for your input. Since I didn't want to take one yesterday so late ... I skip dinner but late night my husband went to get the kids more medicine... I'm like pick me up some ice cream.

    I take either a whole pill starting at 9 am or 1/2 a pill at 9 am. That's just crazy to take it that early. I only say that because of my experience of what I use to do. I figured if I wake up at 6 am 6:30 than i'm going to take the pill. But I started doing this, if I wake up early like 6:30; i will go drink a cup of water and then go work out until 7 am. Then i'll push myself to wait until 9 am on the dot. The 1/2 of the pill would come at noon; before I eat lunch. By all means, snacking is allowed in between but a healthy snack; like an apple/banana; some protein shake. I just started taking the phen pill again. I had a baby; now i'm ready to start getting my body back after yes 10 months. But you can't change your lifestyle unless you're actually ready; so that is why I have waited this long; because i'm ready! lol but before, when I took the pill i lost 16 lbs in one month and then 8 lbs additional after that. The pill works differently for everyone; and what and when I eat may not work for you. But anyway, i'm glad that this site exists, because we all need to support one another; so we all can reach our goals!
    plus... i would never take phen at 5 p.m. that's too late we all go to bed like at 9-10:30. I would take it that late if I were going out and planning on coming home at 2 in the morning. But if anyone is like me in the aspect of taking the pill; in the morning you find it hard to goto sleep at night. I finally start to wind down by 11 pm. And sleep plays a great role on losing weight too.

    I get up a 8AM eat breakfast at 8:45AM take first 1/2 at 9:30am. Eat a snack around 12PM. Take second 1/2 at 2PM. Eat lunch at 3:30PM. Eat dinner at 6:00PM. At 10:00PM hungry, can't sleep, and ready to eat dinner again, but I don't. I just snack on crackers, nuts or fruit.

    You could try the time released capsules then you wouldnt have to worry about taking something late in the day. goodluck.

    Anyone hit a plateau? I have only lost l lb in the last 2 weeks. I switched from the 30mg to the 15mg. My heart was pounding ...I feel a lot better but now I'm stuck? PLEASE HELP!

    You are already at a healthy weight. This is probably where your body should be (your BMI is 22, healthy is between 24.9 and 18.5) and that's why it's harder to keep losing weight. Why do you feel that you need to keep going?
