HCG weight loss shot

Hi I'm a newbie here and I have recently heard about HCG shots that help burn fat, can anyone give me advice on this? I currently live in NC and cannot find a doctor that gives them.
My mother's doctor used to give her a B-12 B-6 injection to help her burn the fat and she had great results but unfortunatly we don't live in the same state! LOL But anyway if anyone knows anything let me know!

I live in Troutman, NC. I have been taking HCG shots once a week for 3 months now. My doctor says that you can stay on them indefinately. Apparently, our bodies produce HCG when we are pregnant. Heavier woman produce more than an average sized woman does and therefore we usually don't gain as much weight when we are pregnant. It only works if given in shot form. I give them to myself weekly with no problem. I can really see a difference in the mirror and in my clothes. My doctor said I could use the phentermine with or without the shots, but would have more success with them. They cost me $40 a month. Hope this helps.

Well I joined this weight loss center here in Florida called Results Weight Loss and they gave me a pill called perma-loss HGH and I took 2 at bedtime and it helped with sleep along with some other supplements from them and I was down 12 inches in a month but not much weight loss.But I don't know anything about the shot. I'm diabetic so I take enough insulin shots so I'll pass on having to give another kind of shot lol.Good Luck.

I give myself HCG shots every morning. (my Dr. gives me a weeks worth pre-measured) Ive been taking these shots for about 7 months. The shots did actually make me moody and easily irritated at first (my poor boyfriend lol)
but eventually everything balanced out and that went away. I lost 60 pounds so far and Im still losing. I get my shots from a weight clinic here is SoCal but besides the clinic I go to, I havent heard of any other locations to get them. If any one knows of other locations here in SoCal please let me know ! =) Its getting too expensive!

There is a directory at hcgdietinfo.com of hcg clinics. If you don't see an hcg clinic in north carolina or whereever, check back. It took a few days before they added one in my location.

Don't wast your money on HGH pills. Human Growth Hormone can only be given by injection and any pills on the market claiming to be HGH are garbage! HGH is illegal to get or use without a prescription. Although you can get a perscription, HGH is not covered by insurance.

I take the HCG drops, called Releana, in the morning and in the evening. I asked my Dr. about oral v. shots and she says its the same exact stuff. She also gave me B12 Shots that I take every couple of days. I pay $250/month for the Releana, $50 for 14 B12 shots and $120 for phentermine AND phentrazamine. Hello everyone,

I tried Phentermine once when a friend of mine let me try some of hers for a couple of weeks. I lost ten pounds. I went to my doctor and asked for a prescription and he turned me down. He said it wasn't safe. Although the 2 weeks I was on it I had no side effect except for cotton mouth.

I have not been able to find a clinic in my area that would prescribe Phen for me and I am also very interested in HCG injections.

Does anyone know of a place in Knoxville, TN?

Dr. Giourrard in Huntersville gives them. I am in fort mill and i am waiting on the clinic in Rock hill that gives me phen to get them in. They will have the hcg shots and B12 shots in soon..i hope.

That is true. There is no oral HCG, it is a scam. The only real form is the injectible form. I used 200iu per day and got great results.

The problem with the HCG - its not FDA approved. In 1962 it was determined that it will do more harm then good, and in 1974 the FDA stated that any producer of said drug must put on their labels that it is NOT for weight loss use.

The HCG program for the injections is once a day for 6 weeks. If you take it more often/continuously, you could reach an immunity where your body no longer reacts to the HCG, and you will cease to lose weight.

Funny how some of the sites that sell this stuff have to post this:

I go to a medical doctor in Salisbury, NC. He has a weight loss clinic there. They prescribe Phentermine as well as HCG injections.

I am to give myself the injections twice weekly. At my first visit, (they have a special time twice a week for "newbies") they had everyone give themselves their first HCG injection. They tell you how to do it and boom..it's that easy...no pain and the needle is probably less than a half an inch long and very tiny in diameter.

The doctors name is Dr. Joseph Holmes and he is located in Salisbury, NC. If you would like the phone number, I'd be more than happy to give it to you. He does not have a website.

The first visit is $210 and includes weight, measurements, vitals, informative seminar (takes about an hour) with a nurse and the doctor himself, 10 HCG injections (one of which you give yourself in the office), and 35Phentermine tablets (37.5mg). Then you are seen on a monthly basis at a cost of $100 per visit, which includes the injections and the phen, measurements, vitals, weight. They even take a before photo of you on your first visit and keep it in your file.

The first visit does take about 2 hours. Also, at the end of the first visit, they give you a "goodie" bag with a pedometer, a cool little pill dispenser, and a few high protein snacks. Also a booklet of information on diet, Phen & HCG injections.

I have lost about 15 inches so far using the HCG shots. It may not be approved for weight loss but it does work. I know quite a few other people that have successfully lost weight and kept it off using HCG..

I am close to Salisbury so I Googled to try and find Dr. Holmes. The only thing that alarmed me was that an article came up from 2001 about how he abruptly closed his practice and left the patients hanging?

I am confused. Any info on that?? I would be interested in seeing him.

15 inches and curious how many pounds? I just ask because there are so many ways to measure inches, etc. Thanks!

About 25 lbs. I am not losing the lbs but I am seeing loss in inches and the way that my clothes are fitting. I had to go shopping for some new work clothes today and dropped two sizes which shocked the heck out of me. I am currently on a 3 week break and will ge measured on my next visit in two weeks.

The clinic is very methodical about how I am measured. Ffor example, they measue exactly 4 inches below my belly button for my hip measurement.

If you follow the link that "lisa" posted that she claims she used with great success, it takes you to a site where she says she buys her products. HOWEVER, when requesting more information they have a drop down menu to answer where you heard about the site from, and low and behold, one of the choices is "Online Forum - LISA" --

After speaking with this clinic, they admitted that LISA is not a true patient that she is ADVERTISING and MARKETING the clinic on this board. That she is PAID per referral which is why they ask you to state where you heard about it. There are 3 other Online posters too - you may want to get familiar with the names so you know who is giving personal stories and honest results and who is getting paid to post.

Just wanted to share, that even here where I thought was a great outlet for support and information remember "buyer beware" --

I was looking into HCG, but from a doctor not an online purchase. I want to hear honest results from this from people who actually used it. I was inquiring about it and there are some on this site that said it worked for them. I'm going to check myself to be sure its not an advertising. The person you mentioned that was a scam actually said she used, when she hasn't. That's just wrong.

I am from Europe, and was with one of the first clinics that did this according to Dr. Simmeon's findings. Let me assure you that HCG is very safe and potent and that even Dr. Simmeons himself was afraid to come to America with his HCG clinic because of the twisted laws.
He instead had americans fly to Italy to get treatment.

The FDA did not approve HCG and claims it is not helpful for weightloss because they make billions a year selling you every sort of thing that will 'help you lose weight'. Why would they want something on the market that actually works? They'd lose millions of customers.
And don't be fooled by the claim 'it hasn't been proven to be safe'. Maybe not by the FDA, but it has all over Europe, PLUS it is a natural hormone found in pregnant women, and it is given in tiny amounts.
And be aware that when the FDA writes such statements as 'has not been approved' or 'we have not found it safe' they are basically saying 'we have found nothing unsafe about it but we don't want this product on our market and hence we are saying something very vague that has a negative connotation'.

Don't worry about your HCG shots. They are less potentially harmfull than an Asperin.

I also live in NC, a friend of mine went to Concord to get her shots. I don't know the name of the doctor she went to but she lost about 25 pounds within 2 months. But just like phen its not a miracle cure...all of her pounds are back on plus more because she didn't watch what she ate and got slack on her exercise.
