hypothyroidism and phen?

I was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism and was prescribed levothyroxine. Can you take phen with this medication? Does anyone here do so and if so, have you had much luck with the phen?

I also have hypothyroidism that was brought on by my first pregnancy! It took me over a year to lose 30 pounds well i was taking meds for it as well and for some un known reason it went away when my daughter was about 14 months old. then when i got preggo for the second time I gained 60+ pounds my doctors were pretty worried becuase im a small woman at only 5'2 Well it turned out that my thyroid condition had returened during my pregnancy! Now im taking synthroid .75 as well as phen Ive been on both for about a month and a 1/2 and ive already lost 21 pounds! So it seems to me that something is working!!!!! SO yes its perfectly fine to take both and many people on here do, and the weight loss pretty much depends on ur activity level and your diet.....THE PILL JUST HELPS YOU CUT THE CRAVINGS AND THE HUNGER! I hate to sound like a broken record but you really need to ask yoru doctor if its okay to combine phen with another med...as far as I know there is a list of meds you shouldn' t take with phen. If you do some online research you'll find it...but the best source of information is your doctor or the pharmacist.
