Wink Surgery update and weight loss (gain)

Ok, Christmas came and went. I did a little more than I should have the last 2 days getting the last minute things done that I needed to, but otherwise, I am doing really well with my surgery.

On the weight front, I am still retaining an ungodly amount of fluid. Which, being a nurse, I understand is from the trauma of my surgery and my body naturally feeling itself. But I still can't help hating the way I feel. I feel "heavy" again. Even though I am trying to remember how good I felt when I hit 169 a few months ago. It's just now that I have been into the 150's (albiet 158.9) and feel like - oh my goodness - 10 pounds!.

I am not really hungry. I am taking a lot of ibuprofen for swelling and that is unsetting my stomach a little. I just going to wait it out and be patient. I can start walking again next week. Stitches come out 1 week from tomorrow.

    Thanks everyone for your support!

    LOL...imissed that when i read it..too funny.
I did it!! Reached goal and have been here for quite a while thanks to low carb eating and working out like crazy! Phen didn't work for me, but that isn't to say that there aren't other ways. God bless all of you!

Now that was too funny. Glad to hear that you are doing okay. Take it easy on yourself you will lose the fluid and you will feel great again. Take care!
