Wicked & irritable!

Man I really felt it today! My kids came home like a tornado ripping through the house becasue they wanted to go trick or treating. I was so wicked & I had NO patience. Sometimes I am like that without phen but nowhere near where I was today!

How do you cope with irritability? I am taking 5htp (forgot today though), does that work?

I have heard and read a lot about "phen rage" on these boards. Personally, I only felt the irritability when I first began taking phen and the dreaded PMS week. I do know that the 5HTP is supposed to help, but am unsure if it is immediate or if you need to take it for a while?

If it is any consolation, we had a rough "Halloween" at my house too! The kids get sooooooo excited that it is hard to maintain order sometimes.

I can't tell if I am irritable because of the meds or if I would have been irritable anyway. I know that if I get lack of sleep then I am horrible.....
