Went to the doc this morning for my 1-month follow up - total loss of 12 pounds. She was very pleased with my results; I had mixed feelings about them. On the one hand, I was happy to lose weight instead of gaining or sitting at the same weight. On the other, I'd hoped I'd lose more the first month. I'm not overly upset that I didn't, as I know it will take time. I also know it's much healthier for me to lose slowly.
In any event, she warned me that I'll probably hit a couple of plateaus, and that I should just keep on doing what I've been doing. She suggested benefiber on a daily basis to deal with the constipation issues, and told me all adults should be taking it. So I guess I'll be adding that to my routine.![]()
