I picked up a shift waiting tables today for the first time in 4 1/2 months. As I was carring a tray I noticed something did not seem right. Then I realized I used to use my gut as extra help to balance it sometimes. I had no place to balance it today!

That's too funny. I noticed something similar to that as well. I used to be able to rest the keyboard on my gut and just lay back and type away, now I have to actually sit up and have it on the desk, because it will just slide right off now. I don't have that extra shelf. lol. That's great Christy. Keep it going!

Things are going pretty good. I'm giving myself a breathing treatment right now which is probably the only reason I'm online. I've caught two of my kids' bronchitis. I can manage being sick, but I'm glad they are better. I enjoy talking to you very much. I miss you when we miss each other.

I'm glad her jaw dropped with me and I find it heartfelt (not sure if that's the right word) that you would show her my picture. More importantly, what did she say about you?

I am sorry to hear that you are sick. At least all of you are not sick at the same time! It is bad when it is one or the other, but whoa, stand back if it is the whole family.
Hehe! My sister kicked me(lovingly) She said not only are you losing weight ,but you are getting a butt too. I have always had the FLATTEST butt ever. My ex used to call me plateau butt. But I have been doing lots of exercises for it.That was the best compliment anyone could have given me!

Plateau butt. That's awful. At least your getting a butt now though. You know that's what I'm noticing too. I'm finally figuring out where my butt ended and back began. lol. Before it just looked like one big ole butt. Now there's separating taking effect, which is great. lol.

You are so right about the whole family being sick. It's happened and I'm sure it will happen again. We'd almost rather everyone be sick at the same time though, because now it's going right down the line and we have to deal with it for a longer period of time. Kameron (4 month old) is still sick, but at the end stages. He'll be home again tomorrow. I'll go to work for a couple hours just to meet a deadline in the morning, then I'm going home. I don't know why, I always get straight online when I get home, which is nothing I couldn't do at work, but it's different when you're sick. I'd much rather be home on the computer than at work on the computer. Strange, huh?
