    Has anyone done this?
    My husband ran into a friend the other day--he hadn't seen him in a couple of months. He could not believe his eyes!! This guy had dropped 40 pounds and looked great! Hubby asked what he'd done to lose the weight so fast....he faxed over this diet just a sec. ago...

    It's not much to the diet. You are on 3 days on off 4 days. Each 3 days you're supposed to lose 10 pounds.
    Now that i think about it -when i was a kid my dad did this diet and had success.

    is it the diet that you have grapefruit juice before each meal, and a lot of protein and salad? my grandma did that and lost a lot too!

    Sounds like the 3 day diet which has approx 900 calories a day.

    Sample?

    1 slic low cal bread with tbs peanut butter, coffee

    tuna, green beans, beets apple

    3 oz protein, vegetable, low fat ice cream.

    I did it and lost 6 pounds in one week.

    I'm with Missus. I'm thinking it's the "3 day diet." I used it to kick start things when I started Phen. I lost the promised 10 lb in 3 days. I have always been a BIG water drinker, so I know it wasn't all water loss. Pretty boring though....don't think I could do it long term. Good for quick loss though!

    I googled 3 day diet and yea, that's pretty much it. Mine is a tad bit different.
    It sounds boring as all get out but 3 days isn't bad.
    I'm NOT doing it by the way......hubby just asked how he lost all the weight and he faxed the diet...LOL
    I don't like to starve!

    A friend of mine did something like this a while back but it was 12 days on and 2 off, she lost a ton of weight on it, but you had to have 1/2 cup of unsweetened grapefruit juice with every meal.

    I checked the grapefruit diet on line and the difference with hers was you had to have cheese along with the meat and veggies. I had tried it, but I'm not a big meat eater so I didn't stick with it (that's also why I never tried Atkins), but I did continue with the grapefruit juice at every meal and I managed to lose about 30 pounds. I have kept off all that weight for the past three years and am now on my final journey. It was during the summer when I did this and I ate tons on watermelon and canteloupe....hmmm, think I'll start it again, just the grapefruit juice but it has to be unsweetened.
