HCG Injections..15 pound loss in ONE wk, can this be????

I knew that subject would get your attention

Just checking to see if anyone has had this type of success withthe HCG injections.

I went last week to get my prescription refilled and shared with the nurse that I am at a plateau and how I needed to get the weight coming off again, well she informed me, that my doctor had started giving the HCG injections with the Phen. She told me that you can lose up to 15 pounds a week with the HCG.
She told me you have to come in once a week and get the injection.
I took the injection last week, but did NOT take the phen and lost three pounds.
I have asked around and researched and it seems to be an accurate statement/fact, that you can lose 15 pounds in a weeks time.
The injections are $20 a piece, but my insurance paid for it! I don't know why, but I didn't ask any questions.

So let me know what experience you have had with that, and what your thoughts are about it.

Well, it sounds good. And, you lost 3 pounds, and your ins paid it. I say go for it next week too. Unfortunately, my ins won't pay for this type of visit. Good luck to you girl. I'll pass it along to my other buddies.

I just turned the tv on at the house, and the Tyra Banks show is on...there is this lady who is getting ready to come on and talk about the HCG injection....the topic is about differnet types of weight loss.......I'll let you know what I hear.

Well, the lady wasn't saying anything negative, she was sharing the things she did to lose weight.

Oh it is a Dr. who specializes in weight loss, but he runs a family practice.
My Family doctor wouldn't give me Phn let along HCG injections.
Well, I'm going to get more info tomorrow morning when I go to get my next injection.
I'll share more when I return.

Can somone please tell me what the TIGHT thing some are referring too on the boards?

Hey girl, the tight is a supplement you can get at GNC or any healthfood store. From what i'm hearing, peeps are losing big time, with no side effects. There is a coupla posts regarding weight loss etc. Bunz didn't have a good reaction to it. But Fazolis, Nchoul and Rain and others lost big time on it. It is called Tight or San, I think. Go back a page or two.

hey there, i've been doing HCG shots for the past few months. I have NEVER lost 15 lbs in a week...that is ridiculous! The place i go says an average of 12 lbs a month (using shots and Phen) is normal. I actually never noticed any actual weightloss with it. I even tried them twice a week. The nurse at the place where i get mine says that you dont necessarily lose pounds with HCG, but you notice more of a loss of inches and more of a "contouring" effect. I could tell that my waist got smaller and my thighs. I think what made me lose the weight was the phen. Where are you getting your shots though? A doc or a weight loss center? The place i go charges $10 a pop for them and does not accept insurance. I also get my phen from there for $30 for 30 pills. I dont know where you are in NC, but the doc i go to has two locations, one in Statesville and one in Huntersville. Go to letsgetthin.com for more info. BUT I have to tell you, I am a believer, I have lost 8 pounds since My injection friday... husband freaked...he could not believe it..He charts my weightloss progress....so I don't know...I'm looking forward to going back on this friday to get my next one....
I was told by my doctor that I was paying too muc at the pharmacy I use to get my phen..paying like 30.00 they told me to use a specific pharmacy so I pay 15.50 now...So, if I do the math, I'm coming out the same with my phen and HCG as you are....So, it seems to come out in the wash.

I'm just glad to be losing again..It feels wonderful.
Are you taking a water pill too?

I have read reports that these don't work, so I'm anxious to hear about successes from folks here. 15 lbs in a week is a bit much, I mean we're talking 5 lbs every 3 days...more than a 1 lb every day...

But, the loss it has boosted in birthgirl is a fantastic beginning.

I get mine from my gynocolgist. I've seen somewhere you can do a search of drs who do them. I'll try to find out and let ya know. I have a friend who gets them from a dr. who is an internal med practice so it's different kinds of drs. I'll let you know when I find out.

I just got back in from weighing and getting my third shot....I have lost !!! 10 POUNDS IN ONE WEEK!!!!!!!

I am on top of the world!!! I knew I wasn't crazy!!!
I have lost three inches off of my thighs, 1 1/2 inches off my hips, 1 inch off my chest, and one inch off my arms.
I can't believe it. The nurse was so happy for me...the weight is coming off
I understand this may work differently for each individual, but its working great for me.
I'm so happy....I can't wait to weigh in next week.
Angie..good luck on the shot, there are some who won't believe it, but all I can say, is try it before you doubt it...it works...it really does.

What exactly is HCG? Isn't that a hormone that tells a woman if they are pregnant?

It is really...it is the hormone found in women when they are pregnant...That is the same hormone that helps women to lose weight...So its extracted and of course mixed and then injected. Its working wonders for me, I am as happy as a pig in slop

Hope 2, do a little research.....Its the hormone extracted from Pregnant womens Urine...that's the correct answer....
Its funny, when people aren't sure they make up anything....
