Week 1 - I didn't excercise (hurt shin), ate ALOT less & drank ALOT. I did lose 10lbs.

Week 2 - Is here. I plan to hit the gym 3 times (all my schedule will allow). Trying to incorporate healthy eating cuttin down diet coke, no breads, pasta, rice, potatos (which ive already given up). They make me feel icky and "blah" when I do eat them.

I am seeing my parents on the 18th of August and I'd love to be down into the lower 180's. See if my Mom notices a difference. (She's one of those over critical Moms - but I love her).

    10 lbs is amazing!!
If your shin is already hurt dont overdue it, it will just discourage you.
I get the over critical mom thing, it's tough, but your not doing this for her, you doing it for you!! Stay Strong, and enjoy the journey!

Do you live in College Station?? Or did you attend A&M? Or are you currently attending? I'm in Frisco (north of Dallas) and my son is at Texas State, my son-in-law graduated from UT, my brother-in-law graduated from A&M. We are a diverse family, lol...

    Good Luck.

I am going to enjoy the journey...

I'm on week two myself! I've been walking and sticking to water but I need to up my workout routine. I haven't really been sweating like I think that I should be.

I start week two tomorrow as well. I've been walking but not much more than that. I've lost 6lbs so far.

i start week 2 tommorow as well!!!!.. and i only lost 3 lbs.. i didnt change my eating for the better or excserize at all this week... so your 10lbs is AMAZING!!!

for Week 2, i want to start eating better and excersizing while i noticed i am less hungry most of the day, i still manage to eat a decent breakfast, lunch, and solid dinner with no problem.. the pill has mostly removed the snacking and the constant thoguhts of hunger in my mind.. and has me drinking a heck of a lot more water..

ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT TO EAT/NOT EAT.. WHAT KIND OF EXCERSIZE?

If you eat these, try cutting out/down white breads, pastas, etc. Same with sugary drinks/soft drinks. For dinner, try to have your meals contain less carbs. I hear spinning is great for burning calories, and even running would be fine.

On a side note, congratulations to aggiegal! 10 lbs. in one week is amazing!

Default 1 1/2 weeks on Phentermine!

Wednesday will be two weeks since I started. As of yesterday, I am down 11lbs. I started at 287 and currently 276. My mini-goal is to weigh 249 by September 15th (my son's 5th birthday!). That gives me about 8 1/2 weeks to lose 27lbs. A little over 3lbs a week would get me there. This is my first time taking a prescribed (not OTC) diet pill and I cannot believe how well it is suppressing my appetite. For the first time in my life, I can actually say NO to food. I really need to start working out and watching my calorie intake - I better start dusting off my old weight watcher books. I have noticed that many of these posts are several months/years back, hopefully many of them were successful in reaching their goal. Can't wait to hear from all of my fellow newbies on their achievements!
