What is the difference between Phen and Phentrazamine? I've read a few posts about people who take it together. Is this safe? Do they have the same chemical components? Is it just like taking more than one dose of phen?

Is it a prescription drug? How does Phentrazamine work?

    Thank you.

I think it is the generic name of Bontril. Is it possibly phentemetrizine? Maybe my spelling is off.

I think it's phendimetrazine. It's what I take. My pills are the 35mg, and I am supposed to take up to 6 per day, so I get 42 per week. I have never taken that many. I take 2-3 per day. I have done well on it. I lost 30 pounds in less than 2 months. I am on hiatus right now because of cost and I also wanted to make sure I could keep the weight off without the pills. I still have some even though I haven't been to the center in about 4 weeks. I have also kept the weight off, and I even lost another couple of pounds. PhenD is in the amphetimine family. Let me know if you have any other questions. I haven't taken the actual phen, just the phen-d.

Is PhenD a prescription med? Does it give you energy and really suppress the appetite?

Yes it is prescription. Like phentermine there are various mg. doses and also a time release capsule. At one time, my doctor used phentermine for a few months, then switched patients to phendimetrizine for two months so the appetite suppresent effect continued to work.
