I have been so hard on myself the past couple of weeks because I've only lost 7 pounds since 12/31. The scale has NOT be friendly to me! Plus I switched to TIGHT and my appetite has been non-existent so I expected a good loss of weight.

I hadn't given much thought to taking my measurements and ran across the sheet that I jotted my measurements on.....and to my surprise I have lost 17 inches!! With only 7 pounds lost? Is that possible?? I've been at the gym almost everyday and have been taking CLA religiously and after seeing these results, I will continue.

This is totally possible, especially if you're using weights. You are likely building muscle which takes up less room on the body.
    Congrats!!!

It certainly sounds like you are toning your body by building muscle and losing fat. You've probably lost 15-20lbs of fat but gained 10 lbs or so of muscle..so you're netting out at 7lbs lost. Keep up the great work and before you know it the weight will start to melt off as your muscle tone levels off. All those lean muscles will be burning the calories too. you are setting yourself up for some good long term loss. Keep up the great work!!

I know it's possible because the same thing is happening to me! Don't lt the scale rule your world - I had to learn that too. Measurements and judging the difference in how your clothes fit is the way to go. The scale doesn't actually matter at all! You look fantastic - way different then your before photo!
