Question
For those taking it, can you really tell a difference? I take 100mg in the morning (tried it at night too) and can't tell that it's affecting anything. I know it's supposed to act as a mood enhancer, but I think my mood is better simply because of my weight loss, not that I was depressed to begin with. I see that some take it for better sleep, but I sleep fine.

Anyone else not feeling a difference taking 5-htp?
Phen-D 35mg 3x daily
Eliminated sugar & starch
Eat Fat - Get Thin!

I don't think i feel a huge difference but it has helped with my phen rage. So that alone is worth it to me.
Starting pant size 18w, shirt 2xl, bra 42d, undies 7
Current pant size 10, shirt L/M, bra 36d, undies 6
Update: My BMI is now in the overweight category!

The only thing it really does for me is give me a boost of appetite suppression. I take it 20-30 minutes before I plan on eating.

how does everyone take it? and what mg? someone told me 100mg before bed.and i read a post last week and someone was taking 500mg thoughout the day.. and with 5htp can you take to much? sorry about all the ?????? thanks Ann

i love 5htp it really helps where the phen kicks off... I take 1 in the am and 1 in between break and lunch about 10 (I get up at 530a)then my phent at around 11 and another 5htp at about 2 then phend at 4 I am thinking of starting cla
