How Do You Cut Your PIll In Half?

Hi All,

This is my first time on Phentermine and I've read some messages on here about cutting the pill in half. How do you do that when it is in capsule form? Empty out the capsule and just swallow half of those little white and blue pills or what?

I'm a big baby when it comes to meds, I think I'm going to get all the side effects. LOL. So, I thought I'd try half a pill at first. So any suggestions would be great.

I would ask for the pills and get a pill cutter; however, with the capsules, I would think that you could divide the powder in half. You need to check with your doctor and be sure. If you were told to take a capsule, I would do as told; the only side effect that I have gotten was dry mouth (much better now) and some breaking out which can be controlled. I took phen about five years ago and that doctor had me take a half pill in morn and half in afternoon; I don't think it worked too well for me as it took a long time for me to lose weight. I have a new doctor and taking the whole pill has helped me to lose faster. Good Luch!!

The 37.5mg comes in a tablet form and it is scored too break or you can use a pill cutter,I can cut mine in to 1/4 with pill cutter.

my dr had me split my caps in half for the first week
-roll the cap between your fingers, itll crackle asthe gelatin loosens, and VERY carefully take the one end off.
-when you take the one end off, some balls will spill out, so do it over something the they can fallinto w/out bouncing out (theyre impossible to find when they hi tthe floor). I used a dixie cup.
-Now tip the other side so they start spilling out slowly and then you think you have half out, put the cap abck on the pill tightly and shake it horizontally so you can see how much is in it, the length is a much better view of how much is in there.
-if you spilled out too much, you can put it abck in the capsule, or too little and youc an open it up again.
then pour it into your hand and take it how you want to. i usually just tossed em in my mouth and downed a ton of water to get rid of the nasty taste
