Question
Has anyone taken/is taking Meridia? I have taken adipex before, but I don't know anything about how Meridia works...

My mom is taking Meridia. It suppresses your appetite and you can stay on it long term. You don't get the energy boost though. She has been on it for one year and has lost over 50 pounds. She doesn't exercise and eats quite a bit if you ask me. She could have lost a lot faster with exercise and better eating.

I was on Meridia before for approx 4 months. It didn't do anything for me. I also had a friend go on it and didn't work for her either.

I asked my dr. about Meridia and he did not recommend it. He said one of the side effects is really lose stools and I told him that I couldn't deal with it.

Yeah I heard the same thing. I have also heard of Xenical as working for some people. I feel that Phen makes me stop thinking about eating just as much as it suppresses my appetite. That's my major problem..
