Phentermine vs Phentramine

My Dr would not give me a script for Phentermine, so I had to order Phentramine. Has anyone else used this and does anyone know the difference between the two if any?

Phentramine is probably the herbal "version" of Phen. It is not really a "version" though, because the two have nothing in common, except that they wanted to make the other sound like the real Phen. Phentramine probably has Hoodia in it. See if it works for you, but most people (even though not all) say that it does nothing for them.

HOODIA & GUARANA are the active ingredients - as the poster stated above they changed the spelling just enough to avoid legal trouble - but Phentramine is nothing at all like Phentermine.

From the ads I have seen it is always called a "herbal supplement"

My personal DR wouldn't give me a script either, she said try Weight Watchers. Ya ok!!! So I went to a Diet clinic in town, the guy is a real MD but he just deals with Weight loss and he gave me a script with no problems. Good luck!

I also ordered Phentermine and they sent me Phentramine. I sent it back. Am now waiting for my refund, but if it doesn't show up, I'll protest the charge through my CC. Try and diet clinic. They shouldn't have a problem writing you a script. Did your Dr. give a reason for not prescribing it?

i live in a small town, no diet clinics nearby that i know of, i'll have to check the yellow pages. my dr said she doesn't believe in them b/c as soon as i stop taking them i'll gain the weight back and that i should just diet and exercise. hmmmmm..... i'm 40 yrs old and never thought of that LOL

Phentramine/Hoodia-Guarana are just extracts from a plant that the companies are making a crap load of money off of. I have tried it a couple of times with no success to speak of, a pure waste of my time. Hoodia is a good word, cause it is just a bunch of hoodia! I have not heard one good word from anyone. Best to stick with Phentermine, it is expensive if you have to buy it online and not through insurance, but well worth it! I am on day 6 and lost 5 lbs so far and I am excited to continue my weight loss over the next 3 months.

Hoodia is very rare even in africa because of this i highly doubt any pills even contain traces of hoodia. i dont know if phentramine works though but i do doubt it

I too am having a hard time finding a dr who will give me a prescription. Does anyone know of a dr in Maryland or Delaware?

Try Dr. Anchors. Google Phen-Pro. He has a patent pending on the combo and is a bariatric doctor in Maryland
