    Question

    Hi everyone!

I went to the slim-fast website today and it is awesome. I was wondering if any of you had tried the slimfast diet and if so - did it work for you? i went and got some shake mix today and some meal and snack bars. the meal plan they have worked out for me on the website seems very good.

    Any opinions are welcome!
    Thanks

I started it today, i have done it in the past and it has been good for me. I think it eliminates for me that going in the kitchen and looking to see what can i have? i already know, i just have that, and there is 2 ways about it. So, Im hoping..Lol

I don't like most of the SlimFast products, especially the shakes. I got some of the Peanut Granola High Protein meal replacement bars and they are VERY good! I haven't done the actual plan but have used the bars for breakfast or lunches in a hurry.

I'm in love with the Slimfast Optima shakes, but I have never tried their whole diet plan. I'll head to the website and check it out. Thanks for the idea!

Thanks sweetie! I've gained a little from the holidays, but I'm still working on it! Plus hubby's talking about taking me on a cruise this fall, so I've gotta be smokin' hot for that!

I did it years ago and actually lost close to 70 lbs in combo with this cabbage veggie soup my gma would make. I didn't like the powder mixes very well but I liked the already canned stuff. I would only use the shakes when i didn't have time to whip something up. i used their snacks alot and then only ate the bars when i was out and about. I use them from time to time when i have to leave work and go to school and don't have time to eat something. I would have to say that they seem to be not so strict like they were when I did it years ago. The cabbage soup stuff i think really helped with the weight loss. I think my gma got the recipe from weight watchers when she did it. I alos had a routine of what I ate each day. But i gained everything back when i started dating again and began to go out to eat and not to mention always on the go.
If you would like the soup recipe just let me know. I almost look at it as a cleanser that doesn't give you the trots. ha ha ha

There is also a similar type of diet called the Cabbage Soup Diet. You can google it and get that recipe. Cardiologists (and basically surgeons) use it often for patients going in to surgery who need quick weight loss. I have tried it a few times. It is very tasty. And it works.
