I loved reading this thread! I was planning on doing a colon cleanse/detox diet anyway, after I deliver the baby next week. And so I ordered Dr. Natura's cleanse. I bet it'll be here waiting on me when I come home from the hospital. But I'll keep you guys posted. I wouldn't be surprised if I passed parasites or the gross stuff that some of you have passed. But I don't think I'll be taking pics of it and posting on their website like some people have! haha!!

I don't know how or why you guys take that stuff. I eat so many vegetables I go to the bathroom 3-4 times a day. Asparagus, spinach, broccolli raab, I must have a cup of each every day and they are so good and filling and fiberous.
You'll need nothing else.

Hello everyone! I'm Tiffany. I'm brand new on here, been taking phen for 6 days. This DRN is very interesting, and seems very promising. I'm very excited for everyone who has had success with it. I do have a question, if anyone would please reply. I was wondering if anyone who has completed a month of the DRN colonix has experienced any rebound constipation after stopping taking it..that is really the only reservation I have about ordering the product..Thanks and congratulations to everyone one their ongoing success!!

Update...3 weeks into the Dr.N program and I'm thinking of giving up.
The first week went well, the second week so-so, now I'm in my third week and my bowel movements have slowed down quite considerably. I am back to feeling more constipated and bloated then ever. Always tired and cranky.
When I first started DN, I was already, extremely constipated and bloated. Although I've been acheiving a bm every morning it wasn't a complete bm. It did not relieve my symptoms plus that would be my only bm of the day. I've steeped my tea longer which only gave me extreme cramps through out the day. I've increased my fiber, that made me more bloated and I drink lots of water everyday about 3 to 4 liters a day. I exercise regularly and do yoga. I don't eat meat and I don't drink a lot of caffeine. One cup of tea every morning (well, M-F when I'm at work. Helps me start off the day) and I eat about 30-40 grams of fiber a day. I don't eat wheat or dairy b/c of my IBS. So, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Maybe it's just not for me.
I think I will hold off taking DN for a few days and see what happens. I'm thinking it's the psyllium. I know that's the key eliminate in helping achieve a bm but because it bulks up...I just feel clogged; like a clogged pipe.
I don't know, maybe I'll call their hotline and see what they say.

luvmykittys, I had similar issues the 3rd and 4th week. I really think that the phen causes so much constipation that it's a constant battle. I finished my 30 days in early April, and then (unrelated) took a 10 day phen beak, and felt normal/unbloated again, with regular bms.

Now I am back on phen since Tuesday, and didn't wait around for the constipation to start this time. I started the evening tea ONLY that same night. And I should add that sometimes its DR N tea, sometimes its Ultra Slim Tea (same stuff, from the grocery or health store for $3.49), whatever I grab outta the cabinet. Anyway, I've been going like normal in the morning with just the tea. So I will stay off the fiber for now.

If I choose to do another full cleanse, say later this year, it will definitely be when I am off phen for the full 30 days too.

ALso, I read on another web site thread on this topic, that some people have a sensitivity to the psyllium husk fiber in Dr. N. They recommend flax seed fiber instead (build your own program with That and the cheap tea).

Tiffany, I got a report from a woman (same other board) who did the whole program for 90 days and reported healthy, regular poops after she was done. This was 2 weeks after. Plus on the Dr N website the testimonies from lifelong constipation sufferers read that they were cured, for what that's worth. But they weren't on phen....

Update...last thursday I decided to stop taking DN because I was starting to feel really irritated and annoyed with being so constipated and bloated. I've been off DN for 5 days now and I feel much better. I found another fiber mix (smart Fiber from renew life)which has almost the same herbs (not all of it) as DN fiber mix but without the psyllium. I still take the tea and the paranil capsules.
The only difference with this fiber is that it does not had bulk or weight to the stool so it's like I have diarreha but not. I was also wondering if DN fiber mix has wheat in it b/c I'm senstive to wheat products. The fiber mix I'm taking now is vegan and wheat free. I'll continue with this new fiber fix and if I need to add bulk, I'll take the DN but sporadically.

Ultra, because I want to see how it works when I am not on phen at all. I feel like doing Dr N on phen is like stomping on the gas and the brakes at the same time - and/or I just want a "pure" cleansing experience with no possible complications from any meds. That's all.
I may do the toxinout at that time too.

Luvmykittys, sounds like you found the right balance...hope it works well for you.

I've been doing a lot of research over the internet to find some kind of comfort remedy for my IBS sysmptoms. I found some relief for the constipation but the bloating is something else. Even if I have a BM, the bloating stays. It seems no matter what I do, it just tends to get worst. More so after I eat.
I read that fennel tea helps with digestive system so I bought some fennel seeds from my herb shop, ground them, and fused it for about 3 to 5 minutes. Voila! The bloating feeling dissipated...a little. Not a lot but a little, which to some of us that is a lot. So I've been taking fennel tea after each meal. Sometimes I will brew together with some peppermint.
I have cut back on the fiber b/c too much fiber caused bloating. I'll do this for about 4 days (this is my second day) and see how I feel at the end of the week.
BTW...has anyone ever heard of or tried digestrin or digestrol?

Day 22. I took one whole day off this past week. I have been having some stomach problems (started way before I began this program) and thought I needed to be off everything before I go to the Dr. for a follow up on Tuesday. I quickly changed my mind thinking about the investment I have in this.

I wish I would have stayed off the phen the whole time I did this program. I am off it now and my stomach seems to be getting better again. I have never had any stomach issues until the past eight weeks and I have been on/off phen much longer than that so I had not connected the two.

Another strange thing. I am highly allergic to poison ivy and we have a lot of it all over our land. It is almost impossible for me to completely avoid it. I have been away from it for the past couple of days yet I keep breaking out in little rashes on various parts of my body. I'm hoping the detox is getting it out of my system. A girl can wish!

Hey all, I did my last post prior to reading your updates since the last time I posted.

Resmoo, I totally get your thought of doing the program while not taking the phen. As I said in my last post I wish I had not taken the phen either. I am going keep my appointment to follow up with Doc. about my burning stomach even though it is better at this time. I may order some more Dr. N, heck I think I'll check into becomming a rep.

LuvMyKittys, Maybe its not for you. However, it may work like a charm if you are off the phen. Have you considered giving it a go while taking a break from phen? Are you on phen? I had not heard of the digestion or digestrol.

Trauma Mama, I have had a slight increase in week three but it is due to no phen, a binge and TOM. Are you currently on phen? Do you track your menu? I track on spark people dot com and also have selected fiber as one item to watch. It is free and it helps me realize just how much I am eating. I can also track my exercise there so I know approx how many calories I am burning during my workout.

Gosh, I am talking so much you would think I am on phen. It must be the coffee I haven't been able to drink very often.

LZ-I am not on phen but the fennel tea after each meal helps a lot. I'm a total emotional eater and lately I have just been binging so much b/c I'm so stressed and annoyed with my tummy. I have to get this under control and stop eating and start exercising. It's so hard at my job cuz' there's food everywhere I turn. I just need to descipline myself before I gain the 20 I lost. I just have 10-12 more (15 if I don't stop eating) to go.

lz, I am not on phen and have definetly not been eating the way i would like although I don't think my calories are too far out of whack. i am exercising more too to try to compensate. i have gotten over the weird 3rd week bloated feeling, but my wt just keeps increasing. i know that it says to drink 2 liters of water and no more and that is what I am doing. i have restarted tracking my food at fitday and am going to try to adhere to limiting my calories more. i guess that i need to call them, maybe i need to cut back on the fiber? but since i haven't completed a full month yet i was waiting for that first. we'll see!
