    Alright, this is day two. Still nothing! I mean nothing. I have not "gone" since Friday! Now I have all this fiber in me and my belly feels so heavy. I feel like I am carrying twins. Is it normal to not "go" after 1 or even 2 days of dr natura?

    Pugluver - I think other people had the same experience as you and I'd say give it time to "work its way out." Be sure you are driking 64oz of water too.

    Dovelette- you are not blending the peel in with the orange as well are you? I juice a lot of veggies and fruits. Oranges are one of a few fruits that you have to remove the rind from it.

    Still contemplating the Dr N. Seems my daily lemon/kiwi juicing is taking care of issues at present. Lemon juice is antibacterial, antiparasitic and antiviral. It's amazing how I feel after having it each morning.

    Pugluver - I was in a hurry before. I'm not saying steep your tea for 15 minutes if you were only doing 1-2 before. You will blow up.

    I started with 4 minutes, and then 5-6, then 10. Last night I went 15 minutes, by mistake b/c I forgot about it. I had more cramping and urgency this morning, but no big deal.

    Hang in there - once you "break the seal" you'll have results like us.

    I was 211.8 this morning - so I'm down 3 pounds or so since starting Dr. N.

    Thanks Dovelette and Resmoo. I had some success this morning and again this evening. Not much but it's a start! I steeped my tea for 10 minutes last night and it seemed to work out.

    What kind of "routine" have you adopted while taking the phen and the DRN? Do you take the phen first or fiber pills and the remainder of the capsules? (any input would be appreciated)

    I get up around 6am and take the Paranil then 15 mins later, take my fiber. I wait until 2 hours later to take my Phen. So, this is day 4 and yesterday I "went" twice and today so far only once. All three times my BM was loose. Am I doing something wrong or is this what you guys experienced also?

    Mine were also loose I had to cut back from 1 gal of water a day to 1/2 gal a day and when I went from 1/2 scoop to full scoop It became firmer I think you have to adjust according to your body.

    I really believe the reason you are not seeing the same results is the way you are taking the fiber. I think the fiber gets wasted on the bulk you are ingesting with it and doesn't stick to the built up stuff inside. I would try it with just juice for a few days and see if you get results. If no change then no harm done and go back, but I would give it a good 72 hrs at least. You should see a major change from before because you are intaking A LOT of bulk with the fiber. As one person said, the forgot about it overnight and it EXPANDS! Mine overflowed the big glass I had it in! I'm affraid you will end up like L & D with it all stopped up and getting physically ill from it (by the way I had a similar experience, I was asking my husband to take me out back and shoot me...put everyone out of my agony! lol) I woke up the same way in the middle of the night with cold sweats and doubled over in pain and then the clounds parted and just like the Wizard of Oz, my world was suddenly in color again!

    L & D- I'm guessing, but I think you had an intestinal blockage, the can make you very ill, every ounce of your body is achy and in pain because bacteria is creating an infection and you insides are becoming a toxic waste plant unable to remove the old waste. I'm glad you are doing better now! I'm sorry you had to suffer through that, but now that you are finally on the other side, the grass truly is greener!

    It has finally been six months since I did my last detox (I hope you are supposed to count it from when you began it and not when you ended) I can already feel the need for speed (my insides are getting a little slugish and I began my last detox in September. I am going to place my order on Friday along with my hubby, mama, papa, 3 co-workers, and anyone else I can drag in. We are starting a natura support group because the people that haven't done it before are SCARED. They think I am some hippy bush lover who embraces the o-natural. I'm trying to assure them I really just like a flat tummy and to sit and actually do something beside turning red from trying! Woe!!!! I guess it's been awhile so I had a lot to say. SORRY!

    Well I can't wait to see what happens this time! I'm sure it won't be as colorful as last time since I haven't had the time to build up but if it will jump start my weight loss again YIPPY!

    Thanks guys, these forums have been a true blessing! I am a recovering bulemic and when I start to stuggle with self loathing I come here and just read and feel so blest! I'm far from overweight now but still see the fat girl in the mirror and hear the voices in my head saying boys don't like girls who's stomach is bigger then their boobs. Stuff like that I think takes a long time to reverse so thanks for the motivation and support to go one more day healthy! Now if anyone can drag me off the couch and exercise for me drop me a line cause I still stuggle with the desire to workout. Used to love it and I now see it as the enemy.

    Acagirl, I think you are right on with your advice to Dovelette and your assessment of what happened to L&D.

    I am on day 10 and am having pretty predictable big morning action. Nothing interesting to report yet. I re-started phen yeterday after a 5 day break, and noticed it took a little longer to get going this morning (because of the phen constipation tendency). But it was fine.

    My husband is getting a lot of gas with the Dr. N, and I am not. I think it's because he's 20 years older and 100 pounds heavier than me (really tall more than fat - he's 6'8 1/2") and simply has a lot of ick in him.

    I wonder if I'll ever get any weirdness in the toliet. Maybe I don't have too much in me...but this regularity thing is worth the price of admission. Tummy seems flatter and softer too.

    This is day 5 and I have not gone at all today. I also have never had that cramping feeling in the morning or even really had to go in the morning. I am not really sure how this is suppose to go because I have never don it before, but it just seems like I should have more results. I feel like I am taking in a lot of fiber and drinking this tea and that it should be doing more. Anyone have any suggestions/ideas on what I should do different or do I just give it more time? This is what I have done so far:

    Day 1: Textbook... woke up, took 2 pills, took 1/2 scoop fiber w/orange juice 15 mins later. Before bed, steeped tea 4 minutes.

    Result: Nothing

    Day 2: Woke up, took 2 pills, 15 mins later took 1/2 scoop fiber w/orange juice. Before bed, steeped tea 7 mins.

    Result: Nothing

    Day 3: Woke up, took 2 pills, 15 mins later took 1/2 scoop fiber w/orange juice. Before bed, steeped tea 8 mins.

    Result: Small, loose BM in the AM, small loose BM in the evening.

    Day 4: Woke up, took 2 pills, 15 mins later took 1 full scoop fiber w/orange juice. Before bed, steeped tea 10 mins.

    Result: Nothing

    Day 5 (today): Woke up, took 2 pills, 15 mins later took 1 full scoop fiber w/orange juice. Just drank my tea that I steeped for 12 mins.

    I guess I will see what the result is tomorrow!

    Pugluver - that's exactly what I did the first 5 days too, but with consistent results (2-3 poops between 7 and 8:30 am). Everyone is different on this. I took a phen break days 5-9, which made Going happen earlier in the morning, before coffee and pills. I have never had a late day poop.

    You could have a little blockage perhaps. If so, hopefully it won't make you as ill as it did L&D when it passed. I guess the big Question for you is How Does This Compare to your habits/frequency before? If you are producing less, I'd definately say you are in for one doozy of a bathroom visit soon. If you are producing more, it's working, just taking longer for your body to adjust.

    Ultra - I am taking phen with Dr.N, although I just came back on after a 5 day break from it. I do this monthly to keep its effectiveness alive for me. And I am FLYING right now....3 hours sleep in 2 days, oy. Just like in the beginning.

    Pugluver - Hi I am no expert but I have done this before and researched for almost 6 months before I started so I was well informed on what could happen. Everyone IS different, but our bodies were created to function in a predictable manner. You should have a least 2 BM EVERYDAY! I would suggest lots of apple juice for the next few days and switch your fiber to apple instead of o.j. Apple juice is very high in fiber and being a liquid it helps to make thing flow. I also recommend eating Ezekiel bread from Food for Life. You can get it in the breads at any grocery store and it makes a HUGE difference. It puts the good bacteria back into your digestive tract because if you don't help this now and keep on Dr.N you will find yourself in pain from the backup of fiber. Best of luck!

    Hi,
    I have been taking the DRN for three days now not very long. I don't really feel anything out of the ordinary nor have anything "happen" that was out of the ordinary. It is VERY premature, however yesturday I did get a headache that is running into the morning so far. I don't know if it is from the DRN or the fact that I just stopped drinking any caffine all of a sudden. Also, I was thinking of stopping the phen while I do this.. Any ideas would be welcomed. I will let everyone know how this is going as time goes on.

    Ultralyght, that's definitely a caffeine withdrawal headache. Cold turkey is tough (with ANYthing). I would only stop the phen if it is time for a break for other reasons (like if it doesn't do much for your appetite like it used to).

    Jen, no - it doesn't hurt...it borders on orgasmic. Ok, I'm exaggerating - but it feels very good to release the evils that lurk within. And you get so much energy afterwards it's insane! The only discomfort I've had (if you can even call it that) is some mild cramping before you go...and I used to get that from time-to-time anyway.

    Hi all, when I started my diet I was drinking a whole pot of coffee a day I also knew I wouldnt lose weight if I kept drinking it its not that I was so much addicted to the coffee as to the creamer I put in it. Love coffee cream well I went to 1 cup a day and started useing sugar free creamer I had the most massive headaches I had to wear sunglasses in the house for almost a week. But thank God they do go away. Just stick with it.

    I would also agree with Resmoo NO it doesnt hurt going to the bathroom it is a good feeling to be able to go that much what a cleen feeling it is. I wish I would have an evening poop also but I only go in the morning wich is ok. I think 1 of the best parts is my stomach is getting flatter I didnt think that would happen for a while.

    Resmoo---WOW I just noticed your weight loss WOW you are doing great. Wish I was losing that much. what is your GW? being 5`9 dont get tooo skinny..

    Ok I finally got mine yesterday and started today. I did not have any results yet but I will wait until tomorrow to see what the tea does overnight. I am sure it will work something as it has Senna in it (you can get Senna Tea way more cheaper than $88). I am taking a break from Phen for my 1st 5 days on the Dr. N.

    Well, I didn't get much action this morning and I am having a huge Sharp, intermittent crampy pain in my lower right side (the non-appendix side). When I was on the elliptical this morning, I was timing it like contractions, but there was no pattern (1 min, 5 min, 1 min, 20 min, 1 min, etc.). I assume I am fixing to pass something nasty. I am trying to drink water and massage my lower belly a lot to help.

    Any advice?

    L&D, thanks for noticing my progress. I am so bloated right now from stupid pizza, wine, and egg rolls last night that I feel like I'm working backward. Plus I've only lost 3 pounds in March so far. I exercised a little extra this morning and just have to be vigilant for a few days. Anyhoo, not sure what my goals should be. In college I weighed in the 150's. Most of my 20's and early 30's I was between 195-220. I would love to be about 175 or a size 12...and then I'll reevaluate. What about your goals? And have you still stayed off the scale?

    ok im sooo mad--Pi**ed off...I just weighed myself and guess what weigh 208 WTF sorry usally dont swear...I work out 5 days a wk for 1 1/2 hours a day. Ive been eating healthy NOOO junk food when I flex my arms I can see little muscle`s I know my stomach is way flatter because last night when me and hubby were having s*x my belly didnt get in the way (my husband didnt say anything but I know he noticed also --I COULD TELL--)WOW I cant believe it 208 now I say to myself WHY maybe its my imagination I just thought I was getting smaller maybe im delusionable if thats the case I should be able to sitdown eat a whole lemon cake and still be perfect in my mind...Sure then id gain 10...OHH well its off to the gym I go because class starts in 1/2 hour and im off to torture myself...AGAIN...

    L&D I am feeling the same way. I think the more I exercise the less pounds I lose. I see inches off but the scale goes up or stays the same. When I do not exercise the scale goes down.

    L&D, I am exercising a lot too and have had some serious battles with the scale. The tape measure has become my friend. You know you are losing size. You could have eaten too much salt, are PMSing, who knows. I am always up 1-2 pounds the day after I exercise with weights, too. And I noticed a difference in my body during sex as well!

    Another thing about this Dr N - as the fiber is working through - it really grabs onto a lot of water to create bulk. I have noticed my weigh loss (on the scale) actually slowed since starting this 2 weeks ago. But I know it's all bloat from the process. It's hard to get a good reading on the scale in the morning if you are going 2-3 times and drinking water and coffee with the pills and all. I'll bet if you took a day or 2 off at the end of the 30 days and did just the tea, you'll learn how much poop weight you lost.

    I'll be taking a day off from this next week - I have an overnight trip with the stepdaughter, visiting a college. We have to be on campus by 8 am, and that's high pooping time for me, so I'm going to have to not taking anything the day before. I think.

    I didn't pass anything evil this morning, but had lots of action. No cramps.

    Resmoo-I decided to take a break from the phen since it wasn't suppressing my appetite. It can't hurt anything at this point.

    I started DRN 5 days ago, and I have had NOTHING. I drink enough water, and I seeped the tea 2Xmin last night.I don't have BM's anymore than I did prior, actually it seems less. Overall nothing has happened.

    I haven't been working out at all. I am in a complete (gained 7lbs) slump.....

    For those who are "gaining" but are working out and eating right AND can SEE a difference..Sounds like you are toning up and gaining some muscle too. That is GREAT! If you are losing inches while this is all going on, you are doing everything right!

    A little advice to all us with scale issues, ditch the scale and only pull it out at the end of the month! Use a tape measure and you digital camera! They show you the TRUTH not just a number based on many different factors. Grab your favorite swim suit(or not so favorite)set it on auto and say fat free cheese. Print it out and circle the spots you want to focus on toning this week. Then be honest with yourself! Evaluate your real eating habits, every snack or lick of this or taste of that. Some of us,myself included would see where we could do better. Some people a blessed with a super fast metabolism, we are not infact I think mine has given up. The first step in making a change is to say that you need to! Good luck

    OK today is day 3 for me and I was home from work. Good thing because I was in the bathroom a lot today. No parasites came out...just some corn and I have not ate corn in over a month. I guess it is beginning to work. However, my stool is loose like I have the runs.

    acagirl-I agree with needing a change, but sometimes if you are down and out so to speak it is somewhat difficult to do at times. I know that I have gained weight by the way I look, feel, and clothes. It is a combinations of things....need weather change NOW... but I know what I need to change, but sometimes it's not just that easy. For me, I don't know what my problem is, but whatever it is --it's old... But I understand and TOTALLY agree with you!

    OK I gained about 4 pounds since being on Dr. N for 4 days. Not much movements---only 1 day yesterday
    Height: 5'8"
    SW- 215- 3/25/08 (fell off and gained starting again)
    CW- 207- 5/06/08 No Phen just diet, CLA and exercise
    GW: 180 - 9/4/08

    Day 7, and I don't see/feel anything out of context. I am seeping for 5:30min (they told me if nothing, increase by 2min each time) so I did, and nothing....

    I am on day 5 and nothing. I got on the scale and I am up 7lbs. I think I am beginning to think this stuff is a fluke and doesn't do anything. I did go monday and a little today but that is because I added in a laxative pill the evening before because I was not passing at all. I have been off of Phen for 5 days so no constipation from that. I feel like I wasted 88 bucks. How many days does it take to work.
