I never liked milk anyway. thanks for the information. i always knew there was a reason why i carried bottled water with me everywhere.

now if i can only get away from craving that caffeine that one week of the month.
I think that i work the soda machine to death that week. maybe ill replace all the soda slots with H20 bottles.

do you think coke will have a problem with that?

water does your body GREAT!!!!!!!

Well, I must say that sure gives a person something to think about! Thank you so much for working your fingers to the bone relaying that to all of us who are water idiots!!! I will be drinking my 3 quarts(at least)faithfully now.

Hello everyone just thought that I would post here since this is the most "popular post" LOL
I am just happy as a pig in **** that I can actually get into this site!!
I have been having MAJOR 'puter problems...Actually it was a frickin' VIRUS!! What kind of loser is it that gets their jollies by putting out those kinds of crap?? GRRRRRRRRR!!
So we shall see how long the 'puter behaves itself...
I don't think that I will ever get caught up with this place....Since we are all prone to being a tad bit "talkative"

Gosh...I feel bad everytime I post in this thread but I wanted to let you know....you Newbies are GREAT!
Thanks for all the wonderful replies and just so you know.......our real "Water Queen" is really Rena.
I had the information and of course typed it all out but Rena is the one that actually drinks all this water (and MORE!)and actually likes it!!

I am much better at giving advice instead of taking advice...even my own!!

I am a newbie and I have read your water info. Very informative. Even as a nurse, I learned info that I didn't know. Some one also told me that the hungry sensation in the hypothalamus is right next to the thirsty sensation . When we feel hungry,drink water, as it may be that we are thirsty and mis- Interesting thought reading the signals!

Ten Ways to Increase Fluid Intake
  1. <LI>Take a water bottle to work.
    <LI>Take a water bottle for each person whenever you go anywhere in the car.
    <LI>Drink a glass of water before each meal.
    <LI>Keep a bottle of cold water in the refrigerator.
    <LI>Use a larger glass at meals. If you normally use an eight-ounce glass, try a 10-ounce.
    <LI>Take a full water bottle on all bike rides.
    <LI>Buy a waist pack that holds a water bottle, and take it with you on walks.
    <LI>Use sports drinks before, during and after any summertime activity.
    <LI>Have at least five servings of fruits and vegetables each day.
    <LI>Make a fruit smoothie for breakfast. Blend fresh fruit, seltzer water and vanilla yogurt for an easy pick-me-up that's also a good source of fluid.

If you are in doubt about whether or not you are getting enough water......An easy way to check your fluid status is to look at the color of your urine. It should be a very pale yellow. If it's a dark yellow, it means that you're not drinking enough!!!

If you drink 8cups of water a day did you realize thats is 132.5 gallons of water a year and if you figure that by volume it would be 1,060 pounds of water Could you imagine what you would look like if you drank that much koolaid in a year

Thanks, that was great info! URGH, now how am I going to drink a quart in 30 min?? I drank 2 large glasses today and thought I did great!!!LOL I guess I didn't do anything....I will try harder tomorrow now that I've read this!!!! WOW, the thought of NO CELLULITE!!LOL
