    Maybe this is why Phen is helping. It doesnt curb my appetite, but I constantly feel like my mouth is full of cotton balls, so I just keep drinking water.
    I always heard water was important for weight loss, but this was very helpful to understand why.

    Thumbs up Minor Correction

    You hit everything dead on, one minor correction is needed and when you read your entry you will understand.
    You mentioned that cold water is absorbed better than room temp water, but yet cold water requires your metabolism to work harder to distribute it systemically. So in all actuality room temp water is absorbed faster and absorbed much quicker because of just that.

    Cold water is better, hands down; we want our metabolism to work harder at any means, that’s why room temp water should be avoided, not because it won't be absorbed effectively but because it will not require our metabolism to work as hard as it would if it was cold water.

    That is why when you go to the Hospital or Emergency room they give you IV fluids that are room temp, they are absorbed quickly, and can reverse dehydration more expeditiously that cold fluids.

    So if you get anything out of this entry understand that if you are knowingly water deficient drink room temp water to quickly replenish yourself, but when you are back on track with your H20 intake switch to cold water!!

    And like the original poster of this forum stated when you lose water you lose sodium. Yes excess sodium is to be avoided at all cost, but not cut completely out of the diet; our bodies need sodium to provide sufficient contractility of the heart. That goes the same with Potassium, one of the most important electrolytes that we have, potassium is secreted in the urine, so make sure you have sufficient potassium intake if you find yourself constantly urinating. Potassium also contributes to heart rhythms, Potassium deficiencies can even be detected on a heart monitor.

    Bottom line if you are losing more water than usual with frequent bathroom visits, replenish your bodies with it necessary electrolytes (GATORADE IS NOT THE ANSWER HAS MORE SUGAR THAN SOME FRUIT JUICES) the banana is the notorious potassium provider, but strawberries work just as well and most canned vegetables can be a great alternative to giving your body the daily sodium it needs in place of that bag of chips!

    AND one thing the KY PHEN DRS will tell you is that

    WATER BUILDS MUSCLE!!!!



    Here is what the Phen DR says in Northern Ky / Greater Cincinnati ,OH!!!

    Sometimes you dont get enough PROTEIN...and you NEED protein for the Phen to work on/against!!

    Also, the Phen DRs in KY have a scale that measures you BMI, TCI, FAT MAsS, Fat in Grams, Fat vs weight, and WATER CONTENT of your body just by stepping on the scale. ITS SO AWWSUM!!!

    anyhow, here is what Dr Silver says: She said that usually when you have a problem NOT LOSING....its because your water content is low!!!
    WATER makes MUSCLES!!! and not ENOUGH water wil burn muscle that you want.. so they calculate according to your WEIGHT , HEIGHT, and Body Stucture, (big, medium or small build) how many OUNCES a day you need.

    I need 70 oz. so you probably need around at least a GALLON...and she said UNSWEET TEA or COFFEE is fine, or with a little flavoring such as LEMON, etc

    but NO sweeteners!!! WHY DO THEY SAY NO SWEETENERS??
    Sweet n Low, Splenda, etc ALL CONTAIN aspartane whis is WORKING AGAINST you!!! it is an appetite STIMULANT...ie: give me more, give me more, give me more!!

    Splenda does not contain aspertame,BUT I do agree sweeteners are bad,I cut them out of my diet,I just wish in this day and age we could get a safe sweetener to use.

    Thanks for sharing ,lots of good information.I'm sure I'm not alone in not being a big water drinker but since I have been on phen I have been floating in the water,lol.But I put crystal light in mine,it makes it gown easier.

    I really see the results now that I consume 100oz or more of water daily the weight has just feel off, even before I was taking Phen I felt slimmer. Thanks for sharing that with us! Now I have to get my granny HIGHLYFAVORED to take a look at this post, again thanks!!!!!

    I know that when I don't drink enough water I end up getting muscle spasms in my calfs & they hurt like heck! I've been making a big effort to get my water intake everyday.

    I know this is like 9 years after the fact, but I believe the sentiment still holds true!!! I'm signing it!!! I know many out there hate plain water, but I actually enjoy it. I tend to go through diet soda binges, where I miss the taste and the caffeine and I'll drink a few cases in under a week, then I feel like crap.... So for the past 4 months I've been drinking plain water with a random soda here and there.

    i actually am used to drinking water now it will probably be weird if i stopped drinking it lol

    I also just started drinking green tea and thats all i drink besides water

    this makes sense! I have always drank alot of water. It is very normal for me to drink 100 ounces or more in a day. So when I started this diet, my water never dropped at all so the doctor knew i was drinking alot and was well hydrated. Now over the past five or six days i hadnt been drinking as much. so when i went to my appointment yesterday i had lost 1/2 pound of water weight, but i was feeling really bloated -and had been for a few days -had to take my ring off even. she said it was from having not drank the "normal" amount of water for my body for the past few days. plus i noticed i cant poop right now either
