duration of treatment

hi : can i take phen for more than 3 months , one dr said no way , other said if i take 3 mo break , last one said 2 weeks break.

i am confused .. what is the best thing to do

I asked my doctor last week about taking it more than 3 months. She told me that some of her patients have been taking it for a year. I don't know if there was some type of break during the year or not.

From reading some of the threads, it seems that some people go off of it for a bit and back on it to help with weightloss.
