Unhappy Day 10 - No Loss

I have been on Phen for exactly10 days and have been drinking water like crazy and going to the gym but haven't lost a pound. My calories have been between 800-1000. I expected to have at least dropped a few in water weight by now, but no luck. Is this normal?

    Hi!

you could be eating slightly too little calorie and nutrient wise... when you eat too little, your body goes into starvation mode and can start to hold onto fat. do you mind telling me your normal day food wise as in what you eat and about how much of it?

    thanks hopefully I can help!

    It usually goes something like..

    2 eggs for breakfast
    Salad for lunch
2 pieces of fish and veggies for dinner

I eat string cheese and Skinny Pop as snacks.

I'm beginning to think my body doesn't hold on to water..

I'm the same way. 8 days on Phen and I've only lost a couple pounds. I was expecting so much more!

Healthy weight loss is up to 2lbs a week

This might not be recommended by a doctor but I cut all bread, rice, and starch. I eat 6 times daily small healthy snacks.. grapes, pistachios, peanuts, string cheese, apple, piece of skinless chicken, stuffed bell pepper, eggs...small things. I worked out 3 out of the four.

Losing also depends on your starting weight. Your body normally burns calories so if you are carring more weight you may lose that water weight more quickly.

On this diet eating 6 times a day no carbs I lost 10lbs in about a week
    3/18/17- 202.6
    3/24/17 - 192.6

I am hoping to lose 3 more lbs by next week.

Congrats on your loss. You're lucky. I think it's the meds I am on that are preventing weight loss I might be stuck at 205 for life..

    160
    180
    350
    90 (snacks)
equals about a total of 780

Your body is in starvation mode. Your protein is decent. You need to add in more calories and come in closer to 1200 your body is hanging onto everything for fear of famine. You dont want to lose muscle. Thats not good.

Well, I've increased my calories since Monday, so hopefully this helps. I get my doctor weigh-in on the 7th, so I'll report back.

I agree with everyone else. I don't think you are eating enough.
