Phen is not a weightloss drug or pill... you can't continue everything exactly the way you were doing it before, take Phen, and expect to lose weight. It doesn't work like that. You may see an initial loss (water weight) but that is not long lasting or real fat loss. Phentermine is a suppressant that makes it possible to change the way you are eating without having to worry about those nagging cravings and physical hunger "withdrawals" that you may feel when you essentially detox your body off of the c r a p you were putting in it before. It is an aid to help you, not work in place of making real lifelong changes. If you don't change your habits, whatever you lose on Phen will probably come back once you stop taking it.
Phen is generally prescribed no longer than 3 months to give you time to adjust to your new lifestyle and make new habits... if you don't use this time wisely to make changes- it will be extremely difficult when you stop.
My advice is to use a food diary like myfitnesspal to record every single thing you eat daily. Use measuring cups and a food scale to make sure you are recording portion sizes correctly. Evaluate what you eat in relation to the food pyramid. It isn't just about calories and fat... are you eating nutritionally dense foods or empty calories? You need to turn your body into a fat burning machine to make your workouts count. You may lose weight on hamburger helper but I guarantee once you make more nutritionally sound choices- you will ontinue to see results and results you can maintain once the Phen is gone. Good luck!
