Happy New Year Everyone!
Hubby just took a 2005 pic of me..I am posting it next to the one he took of me in August 2004..both pictures are in the doorway of the new garage we are building

I was 184 in the August Picture and I am 146 as of Jan 1 2005...only 8 lbs to go before I reach my goal of 138 (why is it those last few lbs. take FOREVER to disappear!)

Yep--the Phen has helped but I mainly think it was determination...I have always been active so I just mainly had to stop eating JUNK..it just seems so much harder to lose the weight in my 50's, for some reason I remember losing 5 lbs. in a weekend when I was in my 20's!!!
I ride my mountain bike and mush dogs..good exercise..I don't go to a gym (no time!) but I do use the Leslie Sansone Walk off the Pounds tape when the weather is too bad to get out :0)

Thank you so much Kristin, OMG, Phen Girl and Tia :0) YOu guys are the best support and motivation there is...I am so fortunate to have found such kind and caring phrends!
And thank you Tia..I'll be turning 53 this month (yikes!) however, the one good thing is having a darling little 1 year old grandson! That makes getting old(er) well worth the wrinkles!! (and saggy butt, and flat feet and freckly hands etc. etc.....LOL)

WOW - you look great - very inspiring indeed.

i am 5'8 and 195 lbs right now - i would love to make a great transformation like you did!

it helps me to see tall people about my weight and to see what it ends up at - to put things into persepctive.

i should take a picture of myself in a leotard for inspiration. or maybe an old bikini - that would scare me into not eating hehehhe.

anyway! congrats! you look awesome!

You look Amazing. I'm so impressed that at 50 you could dedicate and get the pounds off. I know with age they say it gets harder. I'm only 27 and I thought it was killing me. LOL So, congrats on your success!!!!!!!!! WONDERFUL INSPIRATION!!!!!!!!!!!
