hey everyone

I am going away for a long weekend on 26th aug, and doing a run for breast cancer on 4th sept but i still have 39 lbs to lose before i dare put on my bikini or run 5k.

If i work really hard and exercise my butt off does anyone think i could lose near that amount of weight.
I did lose 14lbs in 2 weeks recently.

would be grateful for any replies

i dont think that you can loose that much weight in that little amount of time, but i think that you can prepaire yourself for the run. have you checked out the couch to 5k challange, its a reasonable challange and it will get your stamina up and its only 3 times a week, you can join whenever you like and go at your own pace

It is not likely you will lose 39 lbs in just a few weeks. If you did, it would not be good at all. Just try to prepare for the race and eat healthy.
