These news camera's in front of the hospital are driving me crazy!!!!!!!! I'm trying to go into work and they are right in front videoing and talking about the big murder that just happened. I know you all have heard. The lady that met this girl in a chatroom, got to know her, found out she was pregnant. Planned to go see her about some "dogs" she was breeding....in the meantime, the other lady had been telling EVERYONE she knew SHE was pregnant. To make a long story short, psycho went to the other woman's house and strangeled her. Then she proceeded to cut the baby from the woman's belly. She took it back home, where I live, and tried to play it off like it was her own. She even told her husband she had went into labor while away and had the baby. Oh it was the sickest thing I'd ever heard. The poor mother didn't even die immediately. She died later at a hospital. So, she was still alive while her baby was being taken from her!!!!!!! Oh I'm disgusted. That woman should go rot with Peterson! WEll, little baby is at the hospital here doing well and ALL these news stations are everywhere. Poor poor baby!! I feel so aweful for the husband that didn't even know. Come on! That woman is CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!

That is definitely the sickest story I've ever heard. It made me gag the first time I read it with some of the details they gave. That poor poor baby, and the mother....I didn't know she didn't die immediately. That's just so sick.

I feel bad for the baby now having to grow up without a mother. What happens when she gets older and finds out the truth about her mother? That poor child. I say a prayer for her and her father everynight. Unfortunately, this is not the fist case of this. Back in the early 90s a maternity ward nurse did the same thing, she took 3 children and told the mother's they were stillborn. They ended up finding the children and returning them to their parents. Now most hospitals have the video cameras at maternity. It is a sad sad situation - hopefully they will be able to move on with their lives.

I sure hope so, because I couldn't believe it either. Now, at our hospital, all the kids wear these little tags, like you see at the stores. Like if you walk through the door with an item of clothing with one of those tags on it, it alarms. That's exactly what these are. They are around their ankles. Kind of looks weird, but gosh, it's safe. And, we have lots of surveilance as well!

This story is so awful, and it seems like there have been so many. Did any of you hear the story of the mother who cut off her daughter's arm and blamed it on depression? I think the child was either a little over or under a year. They actually played the 911 call on our news station and the woman was so calm telling them what she did. My husband and I looked at each other and just started crying. There are some very disturbed people out there. It really scares me-- the thought of someone hurting my son or family..

Kaydin, Our hospitals here have the tags. They've had them for a long time. My husband and I both had to have a tag matching our son's, and the nurse had to check for the tag before handing him to us. Also, the nurses had to have a special tag so we would know they were safe...

Alright my son is crawling all over me, and I feel like hugging him now....

Bama Belle:

When I had my son three years ago, the hospital I went to had the tags. If they came off the baby (when children move) the alarm sounds and the hospital is locked down like a jail until the child is found. I was pretty weird when I had my son I was so afraid of someone stealing him that I actually had a friend who is a State Trooper staying in my room with me so there would be no problem. Here at our hospitals, unless you have a c-section the actual birth is done in the room you check into. So there is little chance of baby stealing, but unfortunately, it happens. A lot more than we know about.
