I was on the 30mg, but ran out 2weeks ago. I havent taken phen for a week and I ordered 37.5 this time. I took one this morning at about 9:30 and it is 2:30 and I feel okay. I dont feel as jittery as the 30mg. My appetite is fine, but I guess I thought it would be more jittery. I do have energy though.

Has anyone took 30 then switched to 37.5 and seen greater results???

    thanks..rebecca

I took the 30 all last month I started the 37 today. I feel ok also but I also think I was hungry at lunch when I usually have to force myself to eat so I dont know if these work the same or not...sorry
Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start now and make a brand new ending.

I've always had 37.5 but in the beginng I did cut them in half a few times and noticed a difference when I went back to the 37.5. I will say that some days 37.5 makes me feel jittery and some days I can hardly tell I've taken it (same bottle etc.) I think maybe lots of different things can affect the feeling....sleep, caffeine, carbs, hormones, even allergies etc.??? Just thoughts.

oh...i think that it probably affects people differently...my friend was on 30 and she was doing good, but she tried a 37 and she is feeling sick to her stomach. She feels nauseaus..but not me. I guess it effects peoples body different. Does it effect your sleep???? I think I will keep taking them whole for now then see. Georgia...have you noticed great weight loss??

Somewhere I read the are actually both 30 mg of phen. The 37.5 has 7.5 mg of inert ingredients.

I read that too. I dont know. Georgia...you go girl!! thats awesome...I did the same thing with the 30 so maybe this will kick start my platue, cause I was stuck at 175. It seems like I lose 10 pds and get stuck. That is why I stop and start so much. I have to play tricks with my body (not those kinds, but the clean ones).

youcandoit, seem like we're in the same boat. I started phen at 178lbs on 3/17 and have lost only 9lbs, I exercise & watch what I eat, all that good stuff, drink LOTS of water too. I will go to 37.5mg on Wed & am hoping that whatever the inert ingredients are is exactly what I need for a push. I get so frustrated. I'm avoiding the scale. I can tell where I've firmed up (arms&legs) but nothings gone from the hips yet. any more ideas?

I've noticed that there are certain times of day when I used to eat heavily, but now that I don't (because I'm taking phentermine) I have to pay attention to the feelings I'm having. Food medicated those feelings before and now that it doesn't I'm stuck with the feelings. That's hard because I don't really want to feel the feelings, otherwise I wouldn't have eaten my way out of them. Thing is the feelings are nothing all that scary or hurtful. The main feeling I deal with is failure. Not necessarily failure for this diet, but failure in life. I've decided now that every day when I get those feelings, I stop and think it through. I do not run from them. As a result, it seems as if every day I'm having these bad feelings less and less. I have a therapist, so that helps a lot too. SORRY MY PIC IS SO BIG!

Happy1, I feel your frustration!! I know that if I stop for a week or maybe 2, then get back on, that usually helps. I eat healthy, but I cut back on alot of carbs. Do you eat really balanced or have you cut back on certain types of foods? I know that for me, I cannot eat alot of starchy foods. If I do, I wont lose weight, I will stay there. Like when I eat cereal, Im used to eating Frosted FLakes..whatever..with whole milk, but now I have to eat corn flakes with fat free milk. I really dont eat much starch at all. I lose weight better with low carb. My body will react better to that. I guess it depends on your metabolism. I want to try the South Beach diet. I hear that is good to do and it is not near as strict as the Atkins. I think I will do better now because I know how to eat and how not to and I also know how much water I should take in and how much I should excercise.

I hope this helps. I know most people say that when they change whatever it is they are doing and do more, or less...depending on what it is, they can get over the platue.

I've gotten past the 3PM blues! It's been almost a month and I've lost 8lbs. Started at 165, now at 157. Weight loss has slowed to about a 1/2 lb. every other day because it's that "time of the month," always a full moon. Things should pick up again shortly. The joy of it all is that I enjoy getting dressed in the morning. My clothes fit again! But these are my "fat clothes" I'm fitting into. I'll be happy to see those go to EBAY heaven SOON. Whatever the case, I am the HAPPY 1 these days. My focus now has shifted away from food (which took up a great deal of my time previously) to being active (signed up for a dance class I'll take this summer). Even this is difficult. I see it as replacing one "drug" (food) for another "drug" (exercise). But hopefully, the latter will be more healthy than the former.

Does anybody know how to get my picture smaller????
