Although I am not a Catholic, I deeply respected Pope John Paul II. I did not always agree with his stands but I knew that we had a World Leader who would courageously take a stand and remain constant. What a precious commodity in this world of deciding what we believe on what is popular. While the world mourns this great loss, heaven rejoices in its great gain.
My deepest thanks and prayers to all Catholics for allowing us to share your admiration and love for this great man. May God grant your peace today.

a truly great man and will be remembered as such along side all the greatest. yes. very sad indeed day to lose him, catholic i'm not but great respect for him I have as almost all do I'm sure. He will be greatly missed.

I am not catholic but I also had great respect for the Pope. I was truly sorry when he got sick and I watched everyday for signs on how he was. He will be missed....Shirley Jo
