It's been 4 week weeks ago today that I started Phen. With Phen and following the Weight Watchers diet, I've lost a total of 14 pounds. I haven't been exercising yet, but maybe one day!

I probably could have done better this week, but I had a couple pieces of pizza and Halloween candy on Halloween night! BAD!!!

Good luck to all of you!

First off, congratulations on your 14 pounds!

But now to play devil's advocate...
I don't want to rain on your parade, but had you been working out these 4 weeks, you might have lost 28 pounds, instead of just the 14 that you've lost. Phen isn't a miracle drug, as I'm sure you've read around here. You need to combine healthy meals, lots of water, and exercise at least 3x weekly to benefit.

I don't mean to come down on you, but quite frankly it irritates me when I see new people saying that they're taking the phen, "trying" to eat better, and not working out. In my opinion, they are wasting their pills.
They are not changing their life, they are looking for a quick fix.
I'm not saying that's what you're doing, I'm simply saying that that is what a lot of newbies do. And then we don't see them after a month or so, because they're convinced that the phen stopped working for them.

So my suggestion/advice/whatever, coming from a seasoned phenster with results to prove it, is to get up and work out. Even if you can only do 10 minutes on the treadmill, or only walk 4 houses down, do that. Do it as much as you can as often as you can, and you'll see the benefits.

Ok, now let me climb down off my soap box and make my way to the exit...This just happens to be a passionate point with me, and I know in order to get where you want to go, healthy diet and exercise is the ultimate way to get there. Trust me.

Choco, with your success you have the right to dish out advice. I know that's why I'm here to learn from people like you.
Yup, when you get comfortable with yourself after seeing a big loss you want to slack a little on the exercise, food, etc.
So you definitely need to stay on track. Thanks for all your motivation.

    NCGingie- great job..congrats!!!

Thank you for the advice choco. I know I need to exercise. It's something I think about all the time. I'm not wasting my pills, you don't know how much I've changed since deciding to take the pills. Exercise will be my next step. It's not like I just sit around on my butt and do nothing, I do have two children that keep me active...I just don't work-out. 14 pounds seems good to me, and I know had I been working-out I could have lost more.
I'm amazed at your success and hope to be as successful as you. I'm fully aware that a healthy eating plan as well as exercise are the keys to weight loss.
I don't plan on being gone in a month...I plan to continue...I know the Phen alone isn't going to make the pounds fall off. I'm not one who thinks that just because I'm taking this pill I'm going to lose the weight.

Also, I'm not "trying" to eat better...I have been eating better...a lot better...I did screw up on Halloween, but that's because I forgot to take the Phen and I was starving after trick-or-treating with my children.
I keep a journal of what I eat, the calories, etc. everyday since I started. I don't eat over 1200 cal. a day and I have been drinking at least 84 oz. of water each day, most times much more because I have the cotton-mouth everyone talks about.
Everyone loses weight at different rates, no body is the same.
I do agree with you that I need to work-out.

    Gingie,
    Congrats on the loss!!
You are doing exactly how most people do in their first 4 wks if not better--I lost 12 my 1st month and I was not working out yet either. Sometimes it takes a little weight-loss to kick start you into a healthy lifestyle. This is a major change of habits you are taking on so by changing your diet, it's a great place to start! The phen will be a great tool for your journey to a healthier, sexier you. When you are ready to start your cardio --which I would try 3 days a wk of 20-30 minutes-walking to start, you will see a lot of inches lost.

I do weight watchers too it is awesome for calorie and portion control! I love it. I carry the books with me in the car so I know what to eat when I'm out.

Well chic good luck! I think you are on your way to a successful weight loss journey!

Gingie, I'm glad to see you're motivated to live a healthier lifestyle. I know it can be hard to get started w/the exercise, heck we've all been there! I just want you to succeed. Good luck to you, and if you need anything or have any questions, I'd be happy to help you out.

Thanks everyone. I'm so into healthy eating right now it is making my family disgusted with me! No chips, no candy, no cookies, no non-diet soft drinks, no anything that's bad for you. My husband and kids are going through withdrawals!!! I want them to be healthy too. My husband needs to diet so bad, he's being doing good since Sunday, I gave him some of my Phen, but he doesn't like the way it makes him feel. I told him that only lasts about three days, but he's just not as motivated as I am. My kids are very healthy and not the least bit overweight (don't know where they get it from), but I don't want them to ever be like me or their dad.
    Good luck to all!
    Take care.
