So facing my first weekend on phen I went to the grocery store to start eating better and found a few things that are GREAT!

Coke Zero: This is new and tastes more like regular Coke, VERY good without a "diet" taste.

100 Calorie Packs Ritz Mix: Only 100 calories and loaded with all the salty snack bits you may miss while eating healthier. Perfect portion control!

VitaMuffins: OH MY GOSH! these muffins are sooo good and only 200 calories each with a good amount of fiber! You can buy these online, it is well worth it if you are used to eating baked goods for breakfast and want a healthy alternative. They also make brownies and cakes!

No-Pudge brand ice cream treats: SO GOOD! They have a coupon for $1.00 off on their website.

So there you go, my first stroll away from Cheetos and the bakery section of the grocery store and I struck gold. Hope this helps anyone looking for a no-guilt treat.

Please post your tastey finds!

Happy Phenning!
Heidi

Thanks for the low-cal snack suggestions. I also like Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches, Minute Maid Light Lemonade, 100 Calorie packs of Cheez-its and Chips Deluxe cookies.

When I feel like snacking, I get me a yummy sugar free/fat free fudge bar! Chocolate is my weakness...Wait, WAS my weakness!! I am victorious!! I also like BAKED! brand chips, but becareful, watch your portions with them. Just because they are baked & healthier doesnt mean you can double what you ate in the regular kind!

I went to my niece's birthday party this weekend, and saw a unique idea for fruit / vegetable dip. Instead of using one of those high sugar / high fat premade dips from the store - you can use a low fat strawberry yogurt. (If you have a hard time eating your fruits / vegetables plain) This is the first time I had ever heard of anyone doing that. You could substitute different flavors too... doesn't have to be strawberry yogurt.
