nasty i know~ sorry~ but i just wanted to know how many of you do this? i bought one yesterday~ doing it tomorrow. mine is an all over body one. i take 2 pills in the a.m. and 2 pills in the p.m. for 30 days. i didn't know if that's how all of them were or not. anyhow~ i wonder how much of a difference this makes in how you feel. oh and did you know that you have 3~8 undigested meals in your colon at any givin time? yeah~ gross~ huh?

Ok I'm so glad you made this topic and it sounds so much grosser then what I was going to post as a topic. I don't know about anyone else, but I do know Phen screws up your pooping. By making it none existant! I have to take a laxative usually to go. I started Phen again on Wed. and I have not gone since Wed. morn. Tonight I can feel that my belly is VERY uncomfortable. SO I am popping a laxative or two before I go to bed! I hate feeling all bloated and sh!tty. Literally! Is there anything better I can do besides taking a laxative every couple days. I know it can't be good. I try to eat fiber, BUT no. Doesn't work. Just wondering...

i'm still on phen, and i went waaaaaaaaaaaaaayy off the deep end today on a "diet" and it seemed to work. i wouldn't recommend this lol..but i have also been wondering about all this too.

OH GOD! I took 3 laxative pills, THREE and I still can't go! It feels like I have a cork in my ****!

I could cry. I hate when this happens. What is this whole cleansing thing about? I have heard it before, but didn't know what you had to do to do it??? HELP ME!

Hey Kristen, when the laxatives don't work try "magnesium citrate" they sell it at the drug store, grocery store, walmart, etc. Over by the laxatives. It is a liquid. Usually in a green or red see through bottle. It will do the "trick". I only used when extremely necessary and if you've taken these laxatives and still aren't going, it seems extremely necessary.
I have not gotten backed up since I stopped taking the extra vitamins. Still on phen, but everything is running "smoothly"

Now, regarding this issue, I had discussed it with the doctor when I was going there and he said that it is ok to take laxatives while on phen because once you stop taking phen your body will return to normal thus not "needing" to continue taking the laxatives. Since the phen is causing it. So it isn't like you will become dependent on the laxatives. Take away the phen, no need for the laxatives.

I did it! Finally went potty that is! I feel better now. MUCH BETTER! I just thought everyone might want to know. I think I will buy some of that fiber crap you drink! And have two glasses of it a day.

Anyway, I take Colon Cleanse (for those that asked - it's actually the name of the product. You can buy it at GNC). It works well. My problem is I'm not consistent with it.

What brand/type are you taking Rene??

LMAO! well~ who knew my topic would be so entertaining! HAHAHAHAHA!!! i am not sure what kind it is~ it's out in the van~ i'll inform my when i bring it in. i bought it at a herb store here in town. it's a 30 day cleanse. it allso helps with your liver, gaulbladder, kidneys~ so i guess we'll see.

Hey ladies! This is too funny but near and dear to my heart! I'm like you guys -- sometimes, I wouldn't go for a week. So, I did an extreme colon cleanse recently - the kind were you don't eat for almost a week!

You start by tapering your meals for 3 days, eating less and less each day plus you take these digestive stimulants and drink this "sludge" at bedtime. After the 3 days is over, you start the boot camp section of the cleanse where you don't eat for 5 days but you drink the "sludge" stuff mixed with apple juice and take the digestive stimulants at bedtime. Surprisingly, I really wasn't hungry cuz you drink this stuff 5 times a day and it's pretty filling. I had BM's everyday while doing this but on the 3rd day, this really weird stuff started coming out of my body. It was gross but very satisfying.

I did this at the beginning of December and stopped taking the phen a day or two before I started the cleanse. I didn't start taking phen again until about 2 weeks ago. And since doing the cleanse, I've been regular, going everyday. I think I just needed to clean everything out and get normal. My hubby and I did this together which helped. And I plan to make it a yearly regime.

Well, obviously I am in the minority because phen does not do this to me. However, I have IBS with diahhrea(sp), so I guess the phen counteracts with that, which makes me regular and normal. I tell you, if you have IBS with diahhrea(sp) and you are like me, after going through an "episode", I never want to go to the bathroom again because I usually spend a good 4 hours in the bathroom during an episode.

OK, I know....TMI!!!

LMAO...although this is a pretty serious topic...the posts I have read are pretty hilarious. I can say that because I have had that problem before in the past. Its a pretty horrible feeling so I can definitely relate to Kristin's "situation." Anyway, guess what? Here in Philly (and I'm sure this is throughout the country but I can only speak for Philadelphia), there are clinics where folks will conduct a full colon cleansing for you. Now, I know this may sounds gross but I figured it would be beneficial for all who read this. I recently met a lady at my gym who was telling me how she gets her colon cleansed every other month or so (do you see the type of conversations I have a the gym while on the treadmill

). Anyway, she goes to a woman that specializes in this procedure...it costs about $50 per visit. This woman will counsel you on how to eat properly (such as: not drinking ICE COLD water because it shocks the system.
