I lost one pound this past week. i weighed myself today and am down to 149. i am completely discouraged and felt like shoving a big fat burger in my mouth, along with large fries. Very sad. I guess I was just excited about a 7lbs loss the 1st week.

I know there are phen users here who have lost a lot of weight, and my question is...Will I continue to lose weight even after the 2nd/3rd week? I mean, will I only be losing like 1 pound a week from now on? I excercise 4x a week, and I really work hard at it!! I don't get it! I just feel like giving up already!!!! AHHH!
SW 157 lbs

Hey girl, a pound a week is good. The slower, the better. Congrats on that 7 pounds, again.

Keep it going.

Don't give up. Usually we lose more during the first week b/c of alot of water weight. Your loss may vary each week but at least its a lose and not a gain. Don't get discouraged, the weight will come off it just takes time and dedication. Good luck to you!

Any loss is great girl. Remember we don't gain our weight overnight too. And you could be gaining muscles and less water retention in your body. Bodily fats are low density so if it's 1 pound of them you loss, you actually loss quite a bit! Cheers and enjoy your weekends!!

I thought I would help put your circumstances in perspective. You have already lost 8 pounds. If you lose 1 pound a week for the rest of the year (13 weeks), you will be down 21 pounds. Since you goal is a total of 45 pounds, you will achieve your goal the week of June 12th. That is 3 months ahead of your wedding.

Stick to your workouts and eating right and you will definitely get there before then. Best of luck.

Everything I am reading ya need to do cardio daily. Even if it is a 10 minute walk/run/ride, that is probably more than you did before.
1# a week I would gladly take LOL ya see my lil snail on my ticker, it's there for a reason! Honestly though I have heard anything over 2# a week might be unhealthy loss and sometimes easier to gain back with a rapid loss.
CELEBRATE each pound hun.

Girl, slow and steady is the way to lose weight. You aren't going to lose 7lbs each week. It just isn't healthy to lose that much each week over a long time.
Anyway, just take your time and don't expect too much too soon. Set yourself ATTAINABLE goals on a smart timeframe.
Good luck!
