ok, I know this is weird, but I am looking for exercises to get rid of my big boobs. I hate them. Blouses don't button over them, and everything hangs from them making me look bigger than I am. I don't know why anyone would pay for these. If I inherited a bunch of money I would definitely have them removed. My hubby says over his dead body, so I guess I know what i will do with the life insurance money!

I am looking for the same thing!!! I have always tried to get my boobs smaller, but I haven't found anything that works yet! I am 5'8'', 170 lbs, and am trying to get down to 145. My boobs however are DD. I do everything I can to make them smaller. Even thought about breast reduction, but can't because I really want to breast feed my kids eventually when that time comes. I don't know any exercises, but Bali (I believe) sells some really nice minimizer bras. I've had success with these. I'm interested to see if anyone has any suggestions for us! Lets cross our fingers!!!!!!!!!!!

These are my senior pictures that were taken in June 2003 when I was at my heaviest weight (195 lbs).

I want a breast reduction operation SO BAD, but I really do not want to go through the pain or the recovery and I have not had kids yet. I dont care about breastfeeding (at least I dont care right now that is) so that doesnt really matter, but I am concerned about losing feeling in my nipples. Im a little larger than a DD but as soon as I lose weight they are gone and SAGGY!!
Just being honest here

Im going to talk to my doctor on March 9th during my annual - check out my options.

oh, I just love you. You and I are in the exact same boat. I too am 5'8" and was at 170 last week. I didn't start my ticker thing until 167 though. I am a little irritated though because you look much thinner than I do. Ok, younger and more energetic too. hahah.
I don't like the minimizer bras because I feel like they make me look wide and flat. My favorite new bra is by champion (style 1550) and it is a no bounce work out bra but is rather pretty and is seamless. I wear it every day and wash it at night. I found a website, www.titlenine.com that sells sports bras by strength. It is a funny system but it makes sense. They have 1 barbell bras with no support up to 5 barbell bras that they say are guaranteed never to bounce at all! THe 2 I have bought were 4 barbells and really really good support. They are a little pricey (35-45.00) but worth it. I threw all my other bras away.
I hear you can breast feed after a breast reduction surgery but really am not positive. I wouldn't risk that unless I was sure. I nursed both my girls and loved it. There's just nothing like that time and bond.
Oh, well, hope someone has some ideas for us!

I would not care about pain or loss of anything. If I had the $$$$ -- which I hear is like 7000.00 -- I would do it tomorrow. I am a very full C -- translation: don't want to buy a D! -- but would love to be an A. Ok a 32A to be exact but lots of stuff would have to go for that!

Roseandmary, I added you to my buddy list or whatever you call it. :-P We'll work hard at this together. I've been looking for someone around the same weight and height as me. I agree with you, minimizers aren't always very flattering. I have a hard time with that too. It makes me look wide and yucky. Hahaha. But, they work sometimes. Hee hee hee. I'll have to check out that site! I usually find things that are flattering to wear for my shape, but have a dang hard time finding them!!! Since my boobs are so big, my button-up sweaters, etc all pop open there. Ggggrrr. I'm looking to lose the majority of my weight in my boobs and thighs. That's where I hate my body the most. :-P Well, not hate, but dislike. My boyfriend likes it all, but of couse, they'll always say that, right? We'll work together, and by summer, we'll both be looking HOT! Shorts season is coming soon. It'll be a while here in Wisconsin, but it will come! Goodluck, and we should keep in touch!

I had a reduction September of 03. It was pretty painful but don't baby yourself and you will be fine. The scares fade if you do what you are told and the nipple feeling come back a little after about a year or so. not as strong, but still there. it will make you more comfortable in your own body, and will help your back. i had insurance cover me. BCBS. They said no at first but i kept fighting and eventually they said yes. so try and don't give up. they told me i had to lose weight first, but i just went back 3 years of records at my gyno and had my gyno write them a letter telling them that even 3 years ago and 40lbs thinner, i was still the same size bust. i had about 6 letters in all from doctors recommending me, and one from myself and sent them all. I also went to my doctor EVERY WEEK and complained about back problem and said i would continue till they agreed. I figured they would end up paying more money to the doctor in the long run than the reduction. i was 185 lb and 5'2 and a double D, so that is not that huge but enough to bother me. So just try, it may happen for you.

You guys are all so funny! I have lost a cup size since I started (let me take a minute to thank God for this...ok). I have always had a very large chest...If I could only be a full c I would be happy...just keep working out you will see a change...also try the Emma bar from Victorias Secert...it is made for a larger chest and is very comfy and it comes in a few different styles...I love the front clasp...

I guess I am lucky cause when I lose weight I lose the boobs also. Last time I lost weight and got to around 140 I was wearing a 34B of coarse since I have put a TON of weight back on I am currently 40C, put I have faith I will lose this weight again and they will be gone again. I even cleaned out my dresser drawers the other night and decided to save my tiny bras. I should them to my hubby and he just looked at my like I was crazy! But I will show him!!

Rebecca I too have BCBS and I would luv to have a reduction.I am 5'3" with DD's.Very very full DD's.They r always in my way. Can't run. They bounce around and nearly hit u in ur eye.I buy my shirts in such a larger size then my pants.I am sick of them!!!!I have already had my kids and breast fed one of them.I lost 100 lbs awhile back and still gott DD's the numeric # changed that was it.

Ladies the breast feeding ain't as fun as u think it is.U can be shopping and hear a baby cry and there u go leaking some milk.It is everywhere .....

So if u can pm me with all the advice of how to get BCBS tp pay for it I would appreciate it...

I'm currently a 40 DD. I lost about 20 lbs, do cardio 5 times a week, and did Curves 3 times a week for over a year. Chest size didn't move! I recently stopped doing Curves and started lifting small weights at home as well as a resistance tube and stability ball. After only a week, I can tell my bra is looser. I'm continuing to do my elliptical 45 minutes 5 times a week. Hopefully, I'll be able to lower those numbers and letter soon! At my lowest, I was a 36 D, which was fine with me.
