Justfluffy-
I read your post about the clomid not working and wanted to tell you that I have PCOS also and had been trying to get pregnant since 1999. I was on clomid off and on for 6 months with it not working (ovulation would not even start to occur until 34th cycle day or later) so I finally started follistim injections and after just one round with them in June of 2001 I was pregnant. My little boy was delivered in March of 2002!!! Then in April of 2003 I worked hard on losing weight again, watched my blood sugar consistently and lost 34 lbs on my own from working out 3 times a week and watching what I ate, and in March of 2004 we decided to try again for a fourth baby without fertility treatments (I had been cyst free for a good 6 months) and we got pregnant the first try!! Our fourth son was born November 2004!!! We have been sooo blessed! Now unfortunately I can tell my PCOS is starting to come back with a vengence, I have had 3 bad cysts since having the baby, my facial hair is getting bad and hair loss is starting again. Normally after having a baby you go into remission, but I guess that isn't happening for me this time.

Anyway I just wanted to let you know that pregnancy is possible, don't give up!! Ask your doc about the follistim, I know if you don't have insurance that covers infertility the injections can be costly, thankfully our insurance was really good and covered it well. (without insurance our 3 year old would have cost us over $25,000.00) for the two years of fertility treatments!! Can you believe it!! LOL we joke all the time that when he askes for money for college we will give him those bills and tell him his college money was spent on concieving him!!!!!! I am sure he wouldn't appreciate hearing that though!!!! Good luck! If you ever want to talk and vent pm me I truly know how it feels!!
