    Hello!

I just wanted to ask how many of you experienced palpatations when first starting Phen? If so, how long did it last before it went away? Did it ever become a serious problem and you had to stop, or did you take lower dosages?

I was just wondering how that effects us overweight people, as our heart beats faster and we get winded easier as it is. I guess that kind of scares me.

A lot of people experience this! I sure did. It lasted at least a week. I also felt very jittery and anxious in the beginning. These usually subside. It's very important to have your blood pressure, heart rate, etc checked every couple weeks just to make sure things are going ok inside This is the only advice I have because I don't take Phen anymore. Good luck to you though!

I experienced them a couple times. Today is my 1 week weigh in day, so after I weigh I will tell you if the palps were worth it. They have subsided for the most part, but everyonce in awhile, it will happen, especailly if I have had some caffeine, so if you are drinking any caffeine, cut back on that and pick up the water instead. Hang in there, we can do this.

I experienced an accelerated heartbeat the first day. I didn't like that feeling, so I lowered the dosage to 1/2 of the tablet. It still curbs my cravings and I feel much better.

The heart palpatations are a normal occurence. Restlessness is also normal. Remember to check with your doctor every other week for heart, blood and weight checks. If it gets too bad, call your doctor immediately. Mine went away after the first week. Your body needs to adjust to the medication.
