    This is my problem area also. I have been told I just have to exercise and burn that fat tire off but if anyone knows anything that will speed it up I would love to hear it.
    I need the weight to stop coming off of my chest and start coming from my tire.

    What I do is ( I learned this in the Army) and It works 4 me.
    1.Lay down on your back, put your hands under your butt ( can I say that )
    2.What you do is lift your legs both @ the same time up on the air and before you put your legs down leave on the air inleast 6 to 12 inches from the ground on the air and hold it and then let your feet touch the floor and continue to step 1.

    To increase the workout you can always add weight to your ankles

    May my friendships always be
    The most important thing to me;
    With special friends I feel I'm blessed,
    So let me give my very best.
    I want to do much more than share
    The hopes and plans of friends who care;
    I'll try all that a friend can do
    To make their secret dreams come true.
    Let me use my heart to see,
    To realise what friends can be,
    And make no judgements from afar,
    But love my friends the way they are.
    I want to look like this again

    I noticed that you all are talking about the tire below your waist. I do have a waist but I have a tire above and another below. Am I the only one that carries two spares?
    Although I do like to be prepared in case of an emergency, I think that this is a little excessive!

    Mim Someone said gotta lose the weight. But Kathy Smith fat burning is a great way. In her exercise videos, you are doing lower body and upper body at the same time, and thereby burning fat (the spare tires). It's a little difficult, but so worth it. I'm having a hard time now, cuz I can't do kathy because of my knees. But believe me, it works. Also, a jumping trampoline, or some type of aerobics and cardio. The firm also has one that works well on the spare tires.

    Good luck

    I do pilates 5 - 6 x's a week. I have that spare that everyone is talking about. I don't think mine is going anywhere as I have had 4 c-sections!!! As for helping, it might, they focus on the "core" of your body!!!

    Tired of being Fat is right... those leg lifts really work your lower abs. i used to have a medium tire there and ive been doing those leg lifts, forward crunches, side crunches, crunches where I hold my legs straight up, crunches where i bring my knees in when i crunch up...

    AND.... when I lay down now, my stomach is totally flat....and that used to not be the case. when I stand, I still have a little flab in the lower area but im hoping that comes off with more weight loss.

    Ive only been doing these situps for about a month... and I do them in 20s... I do 20 in one position, and change every 20... this makes it go by so quickly and you can do 200-300 before you know it!!

    I just went to look up the Neoprene belts and there's many, many different kinds..some not labeled as waist trimmers, but here on Amazon

    http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...6link_code=xm2

    they also feature a lot of other waist trimmers.
