i just wanted to see how your family is or if anyone has heard from her, let me know. i know they live in new orleans. i, myself am in baton rouge, la. the city here is overwhelmed and out of control. everyone say a prayer for these people or even if you could donate a few pennies. anything helps.

Thanks for checking in on me. And thanks to everyone for all the AWESOME support thru PM's that you've sent!! It means so much.

I have been on the phone and the internet doing everything and anything possible for everyone back home. My immediate family were able to evacuate. Some of my husbands family tried to stick it out and have since then had to leave. It's a mess as you've all seen on t.v. There are still some cousins, aunts and one brother that we haven't heard from and dont' know if they got out. We had family and friends in Chalmette/Slidell area that we haven't heard from either. The phone lines have opened up a lot more, and text messaging seems to be working the best. I grew up in Louisiana and so you can imagine the list of friends and ex co-worker that I am still trying to find and locate. I've been using the nola dot com forum to help locate missing people, and help other get thru to family memebers that have no access to telephones, living each day as it comes!!
Please continue to pray for everyone from LA, MS and AL.

Kittie, I hope your doing good in B.R. Thanks again for keeping me in your thoughts.
