I have bad skin and want to improve it, but can't afford the $100 treatments at the dermatologist for peels or dermabrasion. I found a home microdermabrasion machine on eBay for about $250 to $300. That's expensive, but way less than the dermatologist. If you google "timepeel" or "diamond" microdermabrasion, you should pull up several machines from the seller Onesmartmove. I can't find a whole lot on the internet, and I've tried to contact other people who've purchased it but no response.

Does anyone know if this machine would work, or is it a piece of junk? TIA

I have bad skin and started using the microdermabrasion treatment by Beauti Contol and I love it. They also have an alpha hydroxy acid face and neck cream called Regeneration 2 that is wonderful. Since I started using it my face has cleared up and my skin looks great

Christie- I've also seen the Beauticontrol microdermabrasion kit on eBay (boy maybe I've been spending too much time there lately)- you can get the cream and the battery-operated buffer for around 36.00 sometimes (normally $60)

Tonie- I wasn't sure that the beauticontrol line really worked or not. It seemed like kind of a superficial thing, for people who have little blemishes or just want their skin to be softer. I have some skin issues, plus I just want to start cracking down on these fine lines and brown spots from laying in the sun lol Thanks for the info!

Have a look at the website youthfulessence.com.

Microdermabrasion kit by Susan Lucci. I've been using it for about 12 months and it's terrific. I have extremely sensitive skin but this causes me no problems and I get a great result.
