Hi Marmoura!
Welcome to the board! The generic Adipex 37.5 is phentermine. I've been on it from the beginning. (Since Feb 4th.) Generic drugs are the same thing as the brand name drugs, without the brand, aren't they? That's always what I assumed. If you go to the store and buy generic ibuprofen, you would assume it would help your headache just like Advil, right? If I'm wrong, somebody please correct me. I've always thought if it's the same product, why not buy generic to save a buck or two? My momma raised me to be frugal. Happy Day! Choco-cat

choco-cat I think you're right - I've even heard the generic phen works better - something about being absorbed better?? not sure! but it should be at least 'as good' as the brand name ones

Yes- generic drugs have the exact same active ingredient and dosages as the brand name drugs- SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! I never ever buy brand name unless there isn't a generic. I don't see the point in paying 3x more for a commercial.
