    Question

    I've heard people mention cycles. Is this when you take scheduled breaks from phen? I started this Monday, and I am considering not taking any during the weekends. Would this hurt or help me? One reason is I tend to wake up about 4 hours later during the weekend, and if I take one as soon as I get up I think I won't sleep on Sunday nights. Thanks!

    I'm a new user too, so I haven't done any breaks. From the posts I've read it seems like some people are taking breaks after longer periods on phen then you're talking about. I guess you really won't know if it will work for you unless you try it.

    I've been on Didrex (similar to phen) since last Wednesday and I've noticed on several days when I've taken my second dose later in the afternoon, like 4pm, that the next day I still feel like it's with me (Didrex is not time-released though) and often don't take my first dose until noon and then I don't need another for that day. It's sort of bizarre the way it works. I think it must have something to do with the half-life.

    Good luck with what you decide! I'm sure some of the more experienced people will have some good info and suggestions for you.

    Hello. I have been on phen for almost 2 months now. Since I started taking them I dont take them on the weekends. I do just fine. I needed the proof to myself that I don't NEED the phen to lose the weight. But, ppl do take "breaks" from them for different reasons, i.e. to jump start again, to help over a plateau, because they feel it helps them, dr's orders, ect. You get the idea!!!
