Anyone else out there get migraines?

My big trigger is chocolate.

But since starting Phen I've been getting my migraines more often. (And have been eating little or no chocolate).

The worst part is I take Excedrin Migraine for them, which contains caffiene. I had to take some last night and was awake until 2:30 a.m.!

I got another one this afternoon and now feel like I drank a pot of coffee!

Just curious if Phen affected anyone else's migraines.

The Phen does affect my migraines sometimes. I usually get my "monthly migraine" like clockwork, so I don't take my phen the first day of TOM b/c it makes it worse. I HATE the way they make me feel. I'd rather bang my head into a wall.

I get migraines all the time. I hate getting them. I like to go in my room and shut the door and close the blinds and cover my head ~ all that after I take 3 ibprofins (spelled wrong I know) but that is what I take. I bought "Migraine Relief" but, that didn't work at all for me. I like the ibprofin.
I have had headaches from taking the phen, but that seemed to last only for the first 3 days. But, they weren't like the migraines I get. I hate getting them. I can feel when they start to come and I warn everyone in my family to be quiet and get along!! LOL

Take care,
God Bless,
Tari

You should see your Dr. for migraines...I have medicine in the cabinet that works great for me when I feel one coming on and I rarely have to spend time in bed.

I used to have to spend all day in bed too. I've had migraines since I was about 4. I've tried all different kinds of medicines, but most would make me sick or sleep all day.

Then I try Excedrin Migraine - what a miricle worker for me - go figure! Something over the counter works better than any prescription I've had. Within a half hour it's gone. I usually will lay down (with no noise or light) for that half hour, but if I'm doing something, I can usually cope for that half hour.

I guess the caffiene/Phen mixture rush I get still beats getting sick from a migraine.

I hope you feel better soon! It doesn't take much for me to get a headache and stress turns mine into migraines. When I first started phen in 1999 I got BAD ones and was also taking Exedrin. I was taking the red one with caffeine and just like you it was effecting my sleep. I in so much pain I didn't even thing about the caffeine. I sat up several nights until I realized it. I never had sleeping problems before the phen. Anyway, years later- phen still gives me a headache sometimes. Especially if I don't eat enough. Be sure you get some rest- take the phen early and skip all caffeine.

;( I'm sorry about your migraines! I get them to but when I was taking phen it didn't seem to make them more frequent (thank goodness)When I feel one coming on though I take this medication called Midrin and it REALLY takes it away.. Makes me a lil sleepy but I can still function
