Question
I just discovered kickboxing and I love it! The only problem is... I need a good exercise bra. Instead of jumping jacks, I just march in place because it gets painful... you know what I mean? I've been wearing two exercise bras (can't tell you what brand -- they're from Target), but it doesn't seem to do the trick. Or maybe I just have to wait until I get some of this weight off of my 44D's.

Any suggestions?

I love kickboxing too (I used to do it all the time, I have to find another place to go), and I agree with the exercise bra thing, I can't seem to find one that really works well especially if you're jumping around, ya know? I've heard that Champion makes a really good supportive sports bra (I can't remember the name of the particular one, but it has hooks in the back, not just the regular half tank top type sports bra)but I haven't found it yet. Sometimes nothing helps! I like The Firm workouts because you don't "jump" as much but still get an awesome workout. With kickboxing, the only thing I could do is sort of modify my moves, so its not as jumpy. If anyone else knows of any other good ideas, I'd like to know (and/or any other good sports bras and where to get them!)

I bought tons of exercise bras after my "addition" surgery- I am 40DD-and the ones I like the best are the zip up the front style, by Carol Wior -off of QVC... They were about 28 bucks each.. That bra keeps my girls nice and tight to my chest so they dont do their own little exercises

Oh, I think I saw those before. Never ordered anything over QVC before though. Do you guys get backaches too? I do (upper back) from too much weight in the front. It has been better since I've lost some weight, but it is such a pain sometimes! I'm trying to improve my posture and keep my shoulders back, but its hard when there's gravity pulling you down in the front! Well I'm going to go attempt to workout a little bit before work!

Thanks, ladies!

I think I'll check out QVC. I haven't had shoulder or back problems, but I sure should work on my posture! Maybe the kickboxing will help whip me into shape and help there too.

The Champion jogbra is the exercise bra I SWEAR by. I used to be well-endowed (40DD) & now, not so much (34C), but at both sizes (& in between) it's the ABSOLUTE BEST! I used to wear two cheapo bras when I worked out & DH kept insisting I throw them out & get a decent one. Well, I did & I couldn't be happier - you will not be disappointed with this bra. (I've seen them at Kohl's in limited selection, but the two links I'm going to give you let's you return them if they don't work out.)

So comfortable, constructed so well! - no bounce (even when running!!!) & no chafing!!! Buy at least 2, machine wash, but don't dry them. You will not be disappointed. (The pictures show the women without shirts, but I always wear a tee & you don't look too "smushed" either!)

Cheapest site & I've ordered from them before w/ no problems - check out the fantastic sales too!

The Champion site (gives a better description):

Good luck to you!!!

Thanks, Paty!

I have a Kohl's down the street. I think I'll try that first. I'd prefer to try it on first because I'm terrible about buying things and then never returning them, which is why that would be better for me than the QVC ones. But if I don't like the Jogbra, I'll try the Carol Wior's.

Y'all have been a great help!
