Ive been here before and am now back again.

I just received my Phen in the mail. New year, new body and all that.

I have Crohns disease however, and was waylayed by an intestinal perforation and now have a temporary ileostomy. It will be reversed in about 4 weeks.

My current dilemma is this, should I start the Phen?

I will readily admit I have serious body image issues, always have, always will. When I am thin, I am happy. I can either accept this and take Phen when I need to and adopt a healthy lifestyle (always easier on phen with weight loss and energy to motivate) or spend 30 yrs in therapy working it out. I chose meds. It has always worked for me, I took them when I was 21 to lose 40 lbs in 3 months. I have also taken them after each of my children except between my last 2 because I got pregnant again right before I started them.

My son is one yr old this month and I am ready to move forward.

I look forward to sharing with you all!!

Good Morning Kristina. Welcome back. I can't tell you anything about the phen, as I don't do it, but someone here will give you the info.

    Good luck girl.

Hi, welcome to phenland. I cant give much advice on starting or taking phen. Ive never taken it before.

However if your dr for your Crohns disease says it is ok Id go ahead. I feel for ya when you say you have image issues. If starting the phen for a boost and getting a plan worked out is going to help you then by all means... go for it. Sounds like you have had a lot on your plate in the last year and owe it to yourself to do something for YOU. good luck

Welcome Back! I would think if your dr says it is ok to take phen that it would be. Best of luck to you!
